C'mon, Pete Carrol is a stand up guy. He would never manipulate the rules. Seattle was his dream job. Otherwise he would have never left USC. It was just a coincidence that USC got slammed right after he left.

I loved the part when the brainiac that is Pete Carroll freaking tries an onside kick right after halftime. Like this is college. The rams promptly turned around and scored.

I was referring to a close game where your defense is clearly dominating the game and you kill momentum by giving a lesser opponent a short field. All he had to do was kick it deep and watch his defense pin the rams.

It's been done successfully several times in the NFL.

Didn't we try it once or twice under Whis?

Carroll's a douche, but nothing wrong with that call, especially if you trust your D.
