King may be way off. Or not. It's not bad. King thinks for himself.

Some highlights...no Beanie Wells in round 1 but McCoy goes #21 to Pittsburgh.

The Cardinals select Donald Brown...Larry English not drafted in round 1.

Personally I think its a crap draft

I agree and it is an example of how the Cards luck is changing in regard to the draft. The Cards don't really need any impact players this year and probably wouldn't get one at #31 anyway. However they can use some developmental/depth players and there appear to be plenty of those.

Another example is 2004. The Cards needed starters at almost every position going into the '04 season and that was one of the best draft classes in the last 10 years.

Used to be the Cards would win one game too many to get a top player or the guy we really could use would be taken one or two picks before ours.

Yup! I expect OLB,TE,RB, interior OL and maybe ILB to be priorities with a focus on players who can contribute on special teams.

If we get Donald Brown, he's going to surprise alot of people in the League and have 30 other teams wishing they would've drafted his butt! I'm going back to bed, the draft isn't on yet!

if Beanie Wells doesn't go in round 1, i'll buy every Cards fan at the Chicago game a beer. I remember a few years ago hearing Peter King say Phillip Buchanon was the best player in the entire draft :doi:.
