Meh. Awful trade for Suns. JJ is worth more than that. McKie is nothing special. I'd rather see Amare start at center sadly.

Maybe Nazr Muhammad? He's not with Philly anymore, but would make a decent center. He is overpaid though. Eisley and someone else for him?

I don't think the Knicks want Eisley back.

You wouldn't want Dalembert??? He is Chandler without injury concerns basically.

As a starter averaged 9.2ppg 9.2rpg 2.74bpg in 53 games this season.
Including 12.3ppg 12.4rpg 4.4bpg in april.
Played all 82 games.

23 years old, 6'11-7' at least, young Theo Ratliff type.

He's only 6-11. :( Why don't we just put Amare there then.

Personally I believe he is at least 7' from seeing him play this season. Remember he came out of college as a freshman and might have grown or be listed without shoes.

He has ultra long arms though and good athleticism and footwork.

Hm. But is Philly willing to trade him?

Maybe we make a push for AI too?

Dalemenbert had a pretty good year after doing nothing his rookie year. He's big and showed some skills. But before getting TOO carried away, he only averaged 8 ppg and 7.6 rpg. The Sixers big rebounder was the 6'7" Kenny Thomas with 10.1 rpg.

Yes, but that does not change the fact that Dalembert is under rookie contract. This means he is very cheap now (not creating an incentive to move him) and cannot match up in cap terms with upper end players like Marion without taking at really ugly contract in the process.

BTW, as little as Lampe showed his rookie year, he was more impressive than Dalembert's. Dalembert only got the chance to start when a bunch of other players got injured. This is why I have not patience with proposals to include Lampe in trades.

Why is there even a thread about this?

Phill1, you've never heard of Dalembert? Do you even watch the NBA?

take it easy sly fly. Not everybody here devotes his life to the NBA. My brother and brother-in-law love the Phoenix Suns, but neither of them probably knows who Dalembert is.

And Phill1, you might not want to shoot down trades so quickly until you know who all of the key pieces are. :)

Well, I still don't like the trade. JJ is worth something. No offense to Dalembert, but Lampe is equal, IMO. Lampe just didn't play last season.

If we can pickup AI and Dalembert for JJ, Eisley, and the pick, I so go for it.

So if Dalembert is like Chandler..Doesn't that mean he is a underachieving dissapointment??? That is totally a rip off for the Suns.
