D-Jax has a history of irresponsible behavior as evidenced by missing or arriving late to meetings, throwing up gang signs during games, and allegedly hanging out with gang members with the assumption that he engages in gang-related activities. If you recall, he was suspended from the game against us in 2011 for arriving late to a meeting. By the way, the gang stuff is nothing new. This has followed him since he was drafted. If it's resurfacing now, then there's a reason for it.
I don't think Kelly and co. are stupid enough to release their top-rated receiver without feeling discomfort about his personal life, and they certainly aren't slandering him publicly to save face. Notice how there aren't many people surprised with the move.
It always cracks me up how quickly teams line up to sign a guy like this. Wouldn't it be great to be a fly on the wall in some of these offices to see how they talk themselves in or out of certain players. Would like to have the perspective of both the teams interested and the ones that have the inside scoop who pass or boot the guy. DeSean's perceived sins would be interesting to weigh vs Incognito, Kerry Rhodes, Ray Lewis, Chris Kluwe etc.
