Why is Nash back in there?
Because coach D doesn't trust his bench even with a 20 point lead with 8 minutes to go. Actually this probably has to do with the fact that he ripped the bench after the last blow out and he probably felt like he shouldn't reward them by playing them in this game.

Those were exactly my thoughts. And it's really a shame because that bench could have had some playing time while the starters would have been able to rest.

Wow- the last two plays by Marion were VERY encouraging. He got the ball on the baseline, behind the 3, pump faked his man, drove to the hole, put it off the glass and in. Thats the type of thing I'd like to see Marion doing a lot more of.

You must have missed it.

Marion did that twice tonight, once from the right side and then from the left side..........nice plays off the glass.

It's ridiculous the way starters stayed until last seconds. At least Jumaine and Banks should have gotten some minutes. Jumaine showed potential when given some minutes in few games.

Nash had a really sweet block. That was the highlight of the game for me.

Jumaine will probably see time if KT is out for any extended period of time.

I missed it. :( Good game though, especially that Amare dunk which was awesome to see. I'm not sure about D'Antoni not playing the bench but I guess it's good to send them a message.

It was actually a really nice block. It wasn't a cheap block out on the perimeter or anything. The player got by Nash and drove it to the lane for a layup. Nash followed, got up pretty high actually and swatted it away. It was pretty sweet.

The subs came to the table with about 3+ minutes remaining but there wasn't a stoppage in play until the foul on Amare's alley oop. At that point only Barbosa came in for Nash, since Amare was shooting free-throws.

In the newspaper today I saw a quote from Amare saying he's about 4 inches away from his original vertical jump.
