The Suns are only going to get a couple more opportunities here. They need to buck up and put this away.

Amare has to quit missing shots! He overclasses their entire front line - yet (from what I read and hear on radio) he continues to fumble the ball away and miss close range shots.

How do you read on the radio? :D

At any rate, the only reason they are in this game is because of Amare. He didn't fumble away the last shot. He just missed it.

What a shame - we nearly sweep the Eastern conference this year - but lose to Washington, Atlanta, and Philly. That is embarassing...

Amare does? He's 12/20.

Raja and Leandro, on the other hand, are a combined 9/30. :bang:

That over-the-back call on LB didn't help, but the Suns didn't play like they wanted to win, down 0-10 to start the game and never lead.

Good point. However, as I have listened to the 4th quarter, Amare has turned the ball over twice down low and missed two close range shots. If that is the 1st quarter, I don't think too much of it... but in the 4th?

They seemed like they were not interested this entire game.

Worst performance of the season with Nash in the lineup. No excuses for this one. 76ers lead this game from start to finish. We had a chance, against one of the worst teams in the league, to do something that has never been done before and we blew it.

yeah, i know, still no boris and no marion tonight, but that loss is pathetic. and dantoni's inability to use anyone off his bench is equally pathetic. i'm not panicking b/c we're not at full strength, but this team doesn't seem nearly as tough as last year's edition.

Does D'Antoni see something I don't? When your shooting guards go 9/30 and your not getting any production from Kurt, why not try other guys on the bench?

We were playing the freaking 76ers. If you were going to go deep into your bench, tonight was the night to do it. I don't freaking care if Jalen can't run. You trying to tell me he could have done any worse? Why wasn't Jumaine in there?

The use of the bench is getting extremely fustrating. So is losing to such horrible teams healthy or not.

We just blew the record against a team that lost 14 in a row earlier this year.....Regardless of whether or not we had Marion or Diaw, this is an absolutely pathetic loss.

There is no doubt that Marion gives us energy when we are in back to back games, and games at the end of a road trip, but they should have been able to win this without Marion.

I'll chime in with my normal comments on a night like this. I'm glad the Suns lost to a bad team. It's better to lose to crappy teams than good ones, since the Suns have already proven they can destroy these crappy teams. Some nights, you just can't walk over inferior competition.

Also, this should wake them up a bit.

The Mavericks have been healthy all season. Show me how they play without Dirk or Howard.
The Mavs are 9-1 without Josh Howard. 1-0 without Dirk.

dantoni's inability to use anyone off his bench is equally pathetic.
No kidding. There's no excuse for Steve Nash with a lingering back problem and coming off another injury should be playing 38 minutes a game four times over a six day stretch. And when you factor in that there's little chance of catching the Mavs and the Spurs/Jazz catching us it makes even less sense to wear him out.

Are you kidding. Mentally, we are clearly stronger (at least comparing regular seasons).

What was our record in close games last year? A disaster. Anytime a game came down close to the end last year you expected to lose. This year, its pretty much the opposite, as I'm actually surprised when we lose games likes.

Anyway no big deal we are locked into the 2 seed. I'm actually more upset that philly got a win, if we dont watch out, atl (who is sliding) is gonna end up in the top 3. We have to get that pick this year, if not they'll be significantly better in a draft that wont be as deep.

I really don't care about these records, they are meaningless.

Brightside: "Microman" is back because when he doesn't play well he still putting up 30 and 15, it's been a long ass time since we could say that.

Marion and Diaw out.

Sure the Suns blew it, but considering they have to rely on "microman" two guys whose shot is crap right now and Nash with a bum wing it doesn't surprise me.
