I'm doing a little research on the Public Address Announcers for the Suns over the course of their history. So far I have -

1968-73 - Bob Cowen - Originator of "Your Phoenix Suns" and "Two minutes, two minutes"
1973-90 - Stan Richards - Fan favorite of many Coliseum-era fans
1990-91 - Bob Williams
1991-02 - Jeff Munn - Fan favorite of many Arena-era fans
2002-03 - unknown - I have seen reference to a couple who didn't last long that year.
2003-04? - Jim Barnett - Also the P.A. Announcer for the Rattlers
2004-05? - Jo Dupree
2005-11 - Jeff Scott
2011-16 - Kip Helt
2016-22 - Vince Marotta - The current guy

Any help is appreciated. Stan Richards was the guy when I started going to games as a teen, so he remains my favorite. Munn was pretty good too, but most to me aren't that memorable (although I haven't been to many games in person over the last 10 years).

My dad did PA for my basketball team in middle school and he purposely copied Cowen’s lines. Good times

I read an interesting story in Tom Ambrose's book 'Notes from the Wacko! File: and Tales from the Madhouse on McDowell' about how Cowen was "cantankerous" and Ambrose was manipulates into replacing him with Stan Richards.

I would recommend Ambrose's books (the other being '2 Wacko!: Echoes from the Purple Palace') for an inside view of the Suns.
