Suns up 82-71 with 7:21 left in the 3rd quarter. Nice job overcoming the slow 3rd quarter start.

Punani can surprisingly move really quick for someone with his physique.

That offensive foul on Richardson was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. There's simply nothing that he did that was even close to an offensive foul.

Wow. There's usually no point complaining about how fouls are called, because those always have an element of interpretation and officials are conditioned not to be consistent (for example privileging stars and changing the rules at the ends of games).

But some of the missed calls in this third quarter were simple issues of fact. On the play where Amundson was called for offensive interference, the Toronto player (Bargnani?) grabbed the net on Hill's attempt, which is supposed to be a goaltending violation. And then the ball was clearly off by the time Amundson touched it (I'm watching all of these on slow-motion TiVo replay).

The Suns are really fighting an uphill battle here. At least they aren't complaining much.

Suns up 95-87 after the 3rd quarter. Let's try to actually finish the game this time. Suns are shooting 61% with 5/13 3 pointers, Raptors 54% with 5/11 3 pointers.

Suns have committed 10 turnovers, Raptors 12.

Suns have 5 offensive rebounds, Raptors 6.

Suns have hit 16/17 free throws, Raptors have hit 18/19 free throws.

Nash has 15 assists. Suns have 24 assists on 37 made field goals.

Nice crashing of the offensive boards by the Suns to start the 4th.

Suns up 100-96 with 8:23 left in the 4th quarter. Suns have gone cold from the field to start the 4th, Suns shooting 1/8 field goals in the 4th so far. :(

I honestly don't think there has been a better team in the history of the NBA at making scrubs look like superstars than 2009 Phoenix Suns. The defense on Bargnani and Bosh has been good, that should equal a guaranteed win against this depleted team. Yet we're getting absolutely throttled by the likes of Roko Leni Ukic, Jamario Moon and Joey Graham... christ.

Why is Amare the only one who gets back in transition defense twice? Funny how the Raptors get a fastbreak after we miss a putback.

Sigh...another 4th quarter meltdown by the Suns. Suns and Raptors tied at 102 with 7:15 left in the 4th.

Suns have hit 2/11 field goals in the 4th, Raptors have hit 7/10 field goals in the 4th.
