I tell ya, as soon as Stoudamire came back with 7 min. left, that squashed any comeback the Wizards had hopes of. That team is unstoppable with him.

That's why I think we can beat the Mavs in a 7 game series. We didn't have anybody last year that could take over physically down low and get to the free throw line down the stretch.

What do you think is more likely, Dirk getting a last second shot 4 of of 7 close games or Amare getting to the free throw line?

Looks like it was a great game; too bad I couldn't watch it. I'm only just now about to go home from work.

Phoenix (33-9) has won 14 straight and 13 of its last 14 on the road.
Apparently they think we lost this game.......we're 33-8.

Antawn Jamison said:
"They really wanted to beat us by 40 or 50 tonight," said Wizards forward Antawn Jamison, who was slowed by a sore knee and finished with nine points and three rebounds. "You could see it in their eyes. They weren't waiting around to see what we were going to do. They just jumped on us and kept it going the whole night."
Nice to see that killer instinct. If we didn't go cold in the 3rd qtr then we might've beat them by 40+.

Wow... put on a fkn clinic on the Wizbangs... just wished Amare wasn't in foul trouble for most of the game, otherwise it would have been a blowout *sarcasm*

Aha, another game where Raja was active on the boards - he isn't doing anything dramatic but he's very sharp at snapping the ball up quick if its in his vicinity. Keep if up Raj!

Arenas's quote in ESPN's Daily Dime on how he'd play against Duke.

Quote of the Day
"I'd probably score 84 or 85. I wouldn't pass the ball. I wouldn't even think about passing it. It would be like a NBA Live or an NBA 2K7 game, you just shoot with one person. "
-- Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas, blogging on NBA.com about how many he'd score if given the chance to play against Duke and coach Mike Krzyzewski. Arenas is still unhappy about getting dumped from Coach K's Team USA.
