Im not a big Collin Farrell fan but he did a pretty good job portraying fear and emotion in this movie!

The movie is really short only 1 hour and 18 minutes according to my watch. But honestly how much can you really do in a phone booth!

I did not like the camera use of Picture in Picture during much of the movie. I know it probably was a good movie to use it in based on the circumstances but I just dont like split screens and little seperate boxes of activity. Thats one of the main reason I didnt like to watch the TV show 24.

Its ok entertainment but I would honestly wait for it on video!

I totally disagree - I thought it was a good movie. I thought Kiefer did an outstanding job - and he was never even on the screen.

The film - just like 24 - is done in real time - so the 81 minutes the movie lasts is 81 minutes in movie/real time. Nice concept, but I think it's been done before - sort of. I found it interesting that they whole movie - well the majority of the movie would be done in a phone booth. I remember when Quentin did Dogs and all the talk because the movie was done in one room.

I'd actually pony up the 8 bones to watch it in the theater again.

High Noon is a classic and should be required viewing for anyone... :D

Nick of Time is Johnny Depp with a very sinister Christopher Walken.

Two actors that I admire very much in the same movie and I haven't seen it - what's the matter with me. I think that will be my next rental from Netflix.

Thanks for the tip.

Saw Phone Booth today, I enjoyed it...was pretty engrossed in the whole thing up until the end when it all came down.

A few things that were very hard to believe...SPOILERS BELOW!

When they find the guy with his wrists slashed...like a minute later they have him on a gurney down on the street RIGHT NEXT to Farrell, then he wants to look at it and they are like "Oh no, you'd better not."

First off, why bring it all the way down right in front of him if you don't want him to look at it.

Second, HELLO? CRIME SCENE? That body would have stayed there for awhile. I watch CSI, I know a few things :)

Speaking of crime scenes, you'd think the cops would have roped off the phone booth as a crime scene, instead of letting everyone walk up to it and ruin all the evidence.

Up until then, I thought it was well done.

That it, of course, for the cheesy effects laser sight, and the fact that the sniper could see the front of both girls, the front of Farrell, and the cop, all from one place.

Those were the things that stood out to me. IT was as if Keifer could see anywhere from all angles.

The cops would've not anyone near the place if it was a real crime scene

I agree about the ending stuff--and the fact that the laser sight was a pretty blatant special effect.

Did you realize that the movie is only an hour and fifteen minutes long?

I realized it when I looked at my watch. But it felt like i was in the theatre for 2 hours. The movie was just slow IMO!

They attempted to pull the '24' thing on it where it was filmed in real-time.

Per IMDB:
Screenwriter Larry Cohen originally pitched the concept of a film that takes place entirely within a phone booth to Alfred Hitchcock in the 1960s. Hitchcock liked the idea, but he and Cohen were unable to figure out a plot reason for keeping the film confined to a booth. Once the idea of a sniper came to Cohen in the late 1990s, he was able to write the script in under a month.
I bet Hitchcock would have made an awesome version of this film.
