Can't Sprint just transfer your numbers to a new phone which you can get for less than $55.
The sprint store I went to said they no longer have the cables for the old phone. I can get a cable from ebay but need to download the info and then transfer it to the new phone.

why don't normal cell phones use mini usb cables yet? They can do everything, and they are powered so you can charge through your pc.

Not sure if your phone has this or not, but under the battery there might be a little memory card that some cell phone manf, use to keep all the data on and can just put that card in the new phone.

Although, with bluetooth becoming more common, I suppose you could always bluetooth your contacts over from old to new, but that would take a lot more time. I'll be very annoyed if the SIM card becomes history.
