Maybe I should also add that I am just as big a Brazilian football fan. Wait a minute, we are talking about what America calls soccer right? If so, this post is valid.

I have family in Buenos Aries who sent me some cool stuff to get ready fer the World Cup in Germany. They also included a miniature soccer ball to start getting me rugrats into the sport...granted I suck at kicking the ball though...

I watched practically every game last World Cup including that annoying Arg loss to England. I have loved South American teams since the age of 10. But Heck! I don't know the team signs and stuff. I just know the players, their strengths, and each team's signature jersey colors. Blue and White stripes is Argentina to me. Another lol and all anyone will remember of Arg football will be the 'Hand of God'.

Did your folks send you a jersey as well? Whose jersey you gonna be wearing during the game? Good luck to you countrymen. And get ready for Ronaldinho.


btw, if Aimar had been given more playing time in the game against England, you might've won the game.

I actually remember my mom yelling at the t.v. for Argentina to go and take back the Falklands during that "hand of god" game...gave me a dose on how folks get into their teams.

Ronaldo is an awesome player...I still remember those 3 goals he made on Argentina in 2004(?)...ugh. I didn't even think if Aimar played in that game you mentioned...I missed that one.

My aunty sent me a Hernan Crespo No. 9 jersey...unfortunately its an XL so it fits more like spandex. But I guess it gives me incentive to go on a diet.

btw, Djaughe Aimar did play that game in the second half and he had a pretty good effect on the game. He has a good floater and is quite aggressive. Crespo sucked in that game. and yes, Falklands is what makes that game so special to me and my friends. Besides, the British command instant hatred with their ways.
