Kind of funny, as dull as Kemp is, I actually like him. He gets straight to the point of sports without all the hoopla. Dean I can't stand though. For Suns talk Ashe and Bickley are probably my favorite. When it comes to basketball though Gambo is clueless. I can't stand his predictions or the way he repeats his statements three times.

Wolfley is my favorite radio personality and it isn't even close. He is entertaining, opinionated, and insightful. He definitely needs a better partner though.

In a van...down by the river.
:yeahthat:

I used to listen to KDUS almost exclusively but Kemp's style is so grating that I eventually moved on.
Yeah i remember trying to listen to his syndicated national broadcast on late nights. I thought he might loosen up once he arrived here for a local broadcast....his act claims to be based on objectivity and he does have great knowledge of baseball but he thrives on forcing his callers to feel like stupid children....horrible.

the best ever was Famino hands down.

:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy AMEN :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy

It isn't even a close vote. Two of the best shows of all time - every Valentine's day show (when a guy forgot Valentines and read through a script in order to earn a dinner on the 15th... remember, they had to say "Jen", wait 10 seconds, "I Love You.") and then everytime he had on 'Steve Shoney Shoenfeld' ("Ladies and Gentlemen, the President).

What was most underrated about Famino was his knowledge of Sports. People just thought he liked to stir the pot, and he did, but he knew Sports. I laughed so hard in 1998 when he proposed that we needed another World enemy before the Olympics began, in order to make them more interesting. I think he settled on France. Just Awesome!
