That was pretty awesome.

Then we put in little Jake and he got pushed around by Garnett all over the place.

Everyone but Marion, Casey, and White are playing like *****.

Joe Johnson is becoming the latest Suns version of Rodney Dangerfield.

"I tell ya, officials give no respect."

Or if you're in the L.A. area you can improve your spanish skills and watch Baloncesto de la NBA: Timberwolves vs. Suns on channel 52 (telemundo).

LOL, I can't understand what they're saying but I did here Oliver Miller and hamburguesa in the same sentence.

Joe Johnson is playing well.

Last game against San Antonio sold me on him more than his big games because he is still had 16/8 and fought through a bad shooting night against a top defense team and got to the line.

He is playing through it right now as well.

17/4/4 8-16FGs at the end of the 3rd.

Does anyone else want to strangle Howard Eisley? Does he know that he's not Stephon Marbury? Can someone please tell him this?

I guess if your name is Garnet, you can change your pivot foot several times without walking.

Overall it was a good game by the Suns. They continued to play tough against another top team in the league. It would've been nice to pull out a win, but I can live with this.

I've never seen a team come up short so many times yet continue to fight and play so hard.

If Amare ever gets over his hang nail the Suns might actually win a few.

yea that is one thing you can say about this team is that they are playing with a lot of effort and heart. i can live with this team playing this way this year while waiting on the lottery and developing the young guys.

1. Yes

2. Apparently not

3. Hopefully D'Antoni let him know when he benched him. I think this is the 1st game Eisley wasn't in during crunch time.

Many sports reports are saying that this is the year the Timberwolves will get out of the first round. With adding sprewell and Cassell they are much better.........

if Amare was playing we would have beat the Timberwolves! We probably should have beat them anyway. We made some bad decisions and it cost us. This is a young team and they are fun to watch.

There is certainly improvement in JJ, CJ, and Jake with continuing excellent play from Marion.

I am not sure I want the suns to get rid of White. He is the only big body we have and he can come in for a few minutes and change the game with his banging. (forget about the salary)

Now lets bring Lampe in a game and see if he can play some next year.

:D

We need to see the Wizard (of Oz). I find myself humming during the last few minutes of every game,

"If we only had a brain."

This is an extremely talented team, and they seem to play well during the regular flow. They have an instinctive knack. But in the last minute or so, the game become highly intellectual. Its there that we seem to falter.

I am hoping age, experience, and a key free agent will solve that problem.

This team is much closer to being a good team than their record would suggest. They played two elite teams very tough without Amare and Carbakapa still recovering from his injury. They have young players who make miistakes, but their mistakes are agressive mistakes and not passive mistake.

The Suns held the Wolves to 43.0% shooting (they have a team average of 47.1%). The Suns forced the Wolves to make 10 turnovers to only 9 by the Suns.

Marion appears to be returning to form, JJ had a great second half, Casey played another strong game, Voskuhl actually went to the foul line and was very active. White played a good game and his drive to make a dunk was highlight film material. (I was really disappointed that no one tried to take a charge:thumbup: )

Carbakaapa still has not found his shooting touch, but he made two spectacular passes - one an alley oop to Marion and another was an instant pass to Voskuhl (I think) under the basket.

The fact that Barbosa had only one turnover more than made up for his poor shooting. He had 4 assists and 5 rebounds.

The only bad part of the game besides the dumb fouls near the end was that they have not learned to deny the ball to hot shooters like Cassell at crunch time.

Now they have to keep from having a let down when they play the Hawks. This is the first game in weeks the Suns are actually favored to win. That's usually the kiss of death.

I'm not sure if its what got Barbosa his TO but while pushing the ball up the court he did a quick pass to CJ between 2 defenders that bounced right off his head. I think players are still learning to play with Barbosa, he holds the ball much less than most pg and guys need to be ready for a quick pass.

One of the things I'm most pleased with is it doesn't feel like we're getting out coached anymore. It was very furstrating with FJ as coach because we never seemed to make adjustments. We also seem to be well prepared for each game.

And there are also set roles on the team...and there are no more stupid constant subbing patterns.

There was a great sequence when JJ posted up Hudson like he wasn't there. In the past, the Suns rarely took advantage of matchup advantages.

Jerry,

That sort of language isn't really allowed here. You can use whatever slang you want, just keep the cursing out of it.

You know with a couple breaks we would of won this game just like last game. I think the team is exciting to watch and has an exciting future....
