Everyone but Marion, Casey, and White are playing like *****.

Joe Johnson is becoming the latest Suns version of Rodney Dangerfield.

"I tell ya, officials give no respect."

Joe Johnson and Shawn Marion I still having trouble getting any respect from the referees. Shawn Marion went to the free-throw line a few times, but there was a big possession late in the game where he was obviously hammered twice with the whistle.

Jerry,

That sort of language isn't really allowed here. You can use whatever slang you want, just keep the cursing out of it.

Wrong thread?

I agree, although I thought the Spurs game was worse.

Definitely. The Spurs game was much worse.

How about Kevin Garnett walking all over the place on that last basket he made? He shifted his pivot for 2 or 3 times.

Wouldn't it be interesting if the NBA added a fourth official to each game, whose only responsibility was to watch players' feet for traveling violations? I think star players travel a lot and of course it is rarely called, but that might be because the officials have to direct their attention to what's going on in the vicinity of the ball.

Remember in the last Denver game when Camby led the break in the early going, the first quarter I think, and he wrapped the ball around his back before finishing himself? On the replay it looked like he took about four steps during that wraparound. I think that everyone, including the officials, was so distracted by what he was doing with the ball that it didn't occur to anyone to check his feet.

Perhaps that the real point of having a famous player is not their performance but their special treatment by the refs. In the case of Michael Jordan, it rubbed off Longley so that he looked like a real center.

I remember when the suns traded for Charles Barkley.
One of the players in the NBA (can not remember his name) said now the suns would get all the calls from the refs and it make them much harder to beat.

This has happened for years, this is a star league, the stars get the call...........we need a star but I do not want Kobe...........
