No coach in the history of the NFL has every done so little with so much? We had more takaways than giveaways and still couldnt cover the 14 point spread? No 2 minute offense at the end?

A qb sneak where the qb runs horizontal? Only 2 long throws to the quan (and he should have been given both receptions)

This guy did nothing his entire career except for LB coach of the bears. How much influence does a LB coach ahve? ZERO

He sucked at every job after that. Someone PLEASE beat the snot out of him this week in practice.

The man has NO business being anywhere near a football field.

The Cards don't cover well on the road now at home they can but I wouldn't bet anything on a team with nothing to play for anyway it dosen't work most of the time unless you are betting for them not to cover but that dosen't help much in this situation now does it.

I believe that we were plus four in turnover margin today.

Teams that go plus four in turnover margin are 863-1 against the spread in the last 864 NFL games played. The lone loss? Belongs to the arizona cardinals.

:D Just kidding man. I don't know if those are the real numbers....

Don't know why you think this team has so much. The overall talent level on this team is pathetic.

Until they move on then they're not too bad.

That's coaching.

Was it me or did anyones else notice Mac's lack of fire on the sidelines yesterday? I think he's been told that he's gone and is just playing out the string. He's usually pretty emotional on the field but yesterday he was pretty ho-hum. I can't say that i blame him.

They in particular do not cover receivers well.

Yes the talent level is very pathetic. We have a lot of rebuilding to do. I did think our big offensive line was our strength but watching DE's get around our big guys make them look like just big fat guys.

I disagree. I think we have some pretty good talent--it's just not hyped because of how bad we've historcally been.

Let's look at what we have as far as talent goes:

OL: Not as good as advertised, but overall it is in the top half of the league. Talent Level: B

QB: Blake and McCown are okay. They've not proven to be difference makers, but they're competent. Talent Level: C

RB: Shipp, Smith and Anderson. Could this be one of the better groups of RBs in the league? I think so. Talent Level: B+

WR: Boldin, Johnson and Gilmore. They're all young. Boldin is a bonefide stud, Johnson has potential, and...well, my mother taught me "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all." Talent Level: C+ (and improving)

DT: Tanner, Russell, King, Bryant, Bell: I think these guys suffer from two things--lack of effective coaching and lack of an edge pass-rush. Give 'em these two things and I think this is a good group. Talent Level: C

DE: Pace, Johnson, Wakefield (KVB): Again, add an edge pass-rusher and this group is solid, but none of these guys has shown they're consistent enough as pass rushers alone. Talent Level: D

LB: McKinnon, Fisher, Thompson, Hayes, Woods, Darling. The strenght of the defense. This is a good bunch of football players. Talent Level: B

S: Jackson, Wilson: Talent? You bet. Coaching? Well, Jackson still has some TB coaching in his head. Talent Level: B

CB: Hill, Barrett, McDaniel, Rhienhart (Starks): Here's where it gets a little ugly. With Starks the group is barely passable. Without Starks, they're terrible. Talent Level: D-

I look up and down the starting roster and see very talented football team that should be much better then a three-win team. The thing that hurts us the most in the talent department is a sub-par CB corps and zero pass rush of the edge. Those two things are a recipe for disaster. Combine that with a poorly coached team and you get...*ahem*...3 wins.

Can you honestly say we have so much less talent than Dallas or Cincy that translates to a 5-6 win differential? NO. Coaching sucks here.

If you take out the words "14 point spread" what on there is not correct? Im not wishing it, Im willing it. :D

If he was in the military with a performance like he has had since he was here youd see the whole sock routine from Full Metal Jacket on his posterior.

You're wrong because Mac shouldn't be assaulted for a poor coaching job. This isn't Columbia.

And, just to beat you to the punch (no pun intended), I won't (not) have a great holiday.

This isn't the military, dude. It's a freaking football game. Get your priorities in order before you start calling others names...lest you look like the jackass.

In what army would you get away with that?

Certainly not the one "Churchill" ran... or any self-respecting military since...

Sounds like someone lost a bet.
He's just a Philly 610 WIP radio listener (and former Buddy Ryan fan) who - due to the balmy Christmas weather can't throw any snowballs at Santa this year. Right Sword?

Hey Sword - Happy Holidays. And stay away from the Mummers Parade (otherwise you'll miss the Blue Gray Game on TV).
