How they got here: District 2 champion Scranton Prep beat Delone Catholic in the first round, 56-34, and Allentown Central Catholic in the second round, 74-36. District 12 runner-up Neumann Goretti defeated Northwestern Lehigh in the first round, 76-27, and Wyomissing in the second round, 58-45.
Up next: The winner advances to the semifinals March 22 and faces either District 3 No. 3 seed Northern Lebanon or District 12 champ Audenried Charter.

Jenna Hillebrand was second-team all-state in 4A last season. … In the second-round win over Allentown Central Catholic, Jenkins led four players in double figures with 16 points. Hillebrand added 15 points, freshman Chloe Mamera came off the bench to score 15 and Claire McGrath finished with 10. … Neumann-Goretti capped a perfect season in the Philadelphia Catholic League with its first championship since 2015, defeating Archbishop Carroll in the final, 50-43. … Senior guard Carryn Easley was a third-team all-state in Class 4A last season. … The Saints avenged back-to-back second-round losses to Wyomissing the past two seasons with their second-round win Wednesday. Amya Scott had 15 points, Easley 14, Reginna Baker and Kamora Berry 12 each. … Neumann-Goretti won the PIAA Class 3A title in 2022 when Scott and Easley were freshmen.
