read my post in the other thread.....darko is probably going number two (which is what i guessed even before DA said it) melo will go number 3 to a team that needs him more then detroit does

Did you watch the NBA Eastern finals tonight? They started off the pregame talking about how much Detroit needs a scorer from the draft. They were saying the lack of an offensive punch is what is doing Detroit in. They said Detroit has plenty of defense, just no offense. Therefore Milicic is probably not as good a fit with Detroit already having Wallace, as a scorer like Carmelo would be. They talked about how all the Detroit "shooters" (three guys they count on for scoring) are shooting 28% or less against New Jersey except for that guy they got from the Wizards. Everywhere else I have seen on draft predictions have Milicic going at number three.

Anthony will become a more versatile player than Richard Hamilton, IMO but now I would predict that DET will take Milicic over Anthony.Of course this can change more times till the draft.
Billups and Hamilton can score but you definitely need some scoring help in your frontcourt if your best frontcourt-player is Ben Wallace.......
If Milicic indeed will become the tougher version of Raef LaFrentz or the next Pau Gasol with better face to basket skills then he and Ben Wallace will rule the East.

They don't need Hamilton, Prince and Anthony.
They need Darko (who could be a scorer as well...from what I've heard he shoots a mean 3 and is drawing comparisons to Nowitski).
The Pistons have been heavily scouting Darko since January according to some of the old Chad Ford things on ESPN Insider. They will take Darko.
Assuming they keep him - his contract is up at the end of the year and there has been some discussion that Hamilton is pushing for a sign and trade deal that would send him where ever Doug Collins happens to be coaching next season.
