As for Pittman, yeah, 1 year suspension at least. This is asinine. Levy got 1 year back in the Buddy Ryan era. Jamir Miller got 4 games. How drugs are considered worse than attempted murder, I'll never understand.

Dont know if this makes anyone feel any better about the situation, but he wasnt just suspended for the 3 games but he has to go without pay for 2 additional games. Which means he doesnt get paid for 5 games which is about $470,000. That is a pretty hefty chunk of change.

Plus Pittman has a very high chance of getting dumped by the bucs now with his suspension and the signing of Garner and Jamal White this offseason.

The reason most of us consider Pittman a piece of crap is not for each individual incident, but his life as a whole. He has had a history of violence against women going back to college. He has never learned to control his anger. He can flex his guns all he wants but inside he's a weak little man if he needs to push women around.

At the risk of being political, the problem with what you wrote is it ignores the impact of being a cocaine addict. People who buy coke are contributing to the ENTIRE world of illegal drugs, they may not pull the trigger themselves but people get shot every day in connection to the very drug they're using.

The concept that using illegal drugs harms only the user is completely wrong.

Getting back on topic, I read your paragraph about not knowing all of the details of the situation. I agree with that. Two questions: how is this incident overblown? And what circumstance or set of circumstances would justify ramming his wife's car (which also contained his child) with his own?
