Players Gone From Last Season

I put together the following list of 28 players from last year's team who are now gone. It may not be 100% correct, but I went through all the transactions for the last year. Some of the players Green cut were added to last year's team during the season.

If you see any revisions, let me know.

5. 06/02/04, Released Marcus Bell, Barron Tanner, Steve Bush, Justin Lucas and Preston Parsons
6. 08/02/04, Released Pete Kendall and Kendrick Rogers
7. 08/22/04, Released Michael Young, Michael Banks, Bryan Gilmore, Jason McAddley
8. 08/23/04, Released Jason Goss
9. 09/01/04, Released Raleigh Roundtree

Bill Gramatica, Jason Goss, Emmanual McDaniel, Derrick Ransom, Nijrell Eason, Kendrick Rogers, Jason Starkey, Teag Whiting.

They were all on either the final 53 or IR at the end of last season.

So that makes 33 of 53, or 62% of our players from last year are gone? Wow.... that is turnover. I think I'm gonna need to pick up a media guide.

I updated it to 28 players.

It's not totally correct to say that the 28 are out of the 53, because some were on the practice squad and called up or signed mid-season so there were more than 53 active players last year. I don't have a roster from the start of '03, but it would be an interesting comparison.

DE - Berry(new)
DE - Zellner/KVB(new and KVB didnt play last year)
DT - Davis(not sure)
DT - Dockett(new)

LB - Thompson
LB - McKinnon
LB - Woods(new as a starter)

CB - Starks(was injured last year so he is new)
CB - Macklin(new)
S - Ohalete(new)
S - Wilson

We have 7 new starters on Defense this year. It might be 8 but I wasnt sure if Davis was a starter or not last year.
