Louis Vasquez, Texas Tech
Height: 6-5. Weight: 333.
Projected 40 Time: 5.24.
Combine 40 Time: DNP.
Benchx225: 39. Arm: 34 3/4.
2/21/09: Louis Vasquez put up way more reps than any other offensive lineman at the 2009 NFL Combine (39).
1/8/09: Helping Texas Tech's offense score billions of points, Louis Vasquez qualified for the All-Big XII Second Team and AP All-America Third Team.
11/2/08: Yet another guard who has suffered through injuries this season.
5/25/08: Despite playing in Texas Tech's pass-happy offense, Louis Vasquez didn't allow a single sack in 2007, earning himself a spot on the All-Big XII first team. Vasquez has started 22 consecutive games.
Jonathan Luigs, Arkansas
Height: 6-4. Weight: 301.
Projected 40 Time: 5.14.
Combine 40 Time: 5.14.
Benchx225: 26. Arm: 31 1/4.
Projected Round (2009): 2.
1/8/09: An All-SEC second-teamer, it's unfortunate for Jonathan Luigs that he's stuck in a class with two of the best center prospects the NFL has seen in a while.
5/26/08: Another center who nearly came out early. Jonathan Luigs won the award as the nation's top center last year, but we'll see how he does without Darren McFadden and Felix Jones behind him.
2007: Jonathan Luigs has started every game at Arkansas thus far. Probably needs to get his 40 time down to make it into the first two rounds.
This is the player i think well have a big season if he gets some carries. This years Tasard Choice.
Kory Sheets, Purdue
Height: 5-11. Weight: 208.
Projected 40 Time: 4.49.
Combine 40 Time: 4.47.

Jarron Gilbert, San Jose State
Height: 6-5. Weight: 288.
Projected 40 Time: 5.15.
Combine 40 Time: 4.87.
Benchx225: 28. Vertical: 35.5.
Projected Round (2009): 2-3.
2/24/09: Jarron Gilbert ran and jumped well at the 2009 NFL Combine. He's now in heavy second-round consideration.

5/9/08: Jarron Gilbert had 7.5 TFL, four sacks and four passes broken up as a junior
He can be a huge matchup probelm for the defense.
Travis Beckum, Wisconsin
Height: 6-3. Weight: 243.
Projected 40 Time: 4.59.
Combine 40 Time: DNP.
Benchx225: 28. Vertical: .
Projected Round (2009): 2-3.
2/22/09: Another good sign for Travis Beckum - the Wisconsin product out-classed all tight ends (excluding James Casey) in the bench-press competition, putting up 225 pounds 28 times.
2/20/09: Size was somewhat a concern for Travis Beckum coming into the Combine. He put on about seven pounds and now has a better shot at being a first-day pick.
1/5/09: Travis Beckum missed the end of the season with a leg injury.
10/26/08: Same old, same old. Travis Beckum continues to put up solid numbers (23 catches, 264 yards) but is undersized.
5/23/08: Travis Beckum once again had a solid year, catching 75 passes for 982 yards and six touchdowns in 2007. He'll be an H-back in the NFL.
2007: Very small for a tight end, but you can't ignore his production: 61 receptions, 903 yards and 5 touchdowns.
This guy can be a late rd steal if coached up right at a backup ss or fs.
Donald Washington, Ohio State
Height: 6-0. Weight: 197.
Projected 40 Time: 4.46.
Combine 40 Time: 4.55.
Benchx225: . Vertical: 45.
Projected Round (2009): 6.
2/25/09: Donald Washington's 40 time is a bit surprising, based on his 45-inch vertical and 11-3 broad jump. Then again, no one ran well.
1/16/09: Declaring into a top-heavy class when you're a Day 2 prospect off a mediocre year isn't too smart. Donald Washington had just 22 tackles and a pick in 2008.
5/17/08: Primarily a nickel in 2007, Donald Washington was suspended for the national championship for violating team rules.
2007: Started nine games as a red-shirt freshman
Any gems out of those names?
