Close game going on in Indiana.

Ind 30 Bos 29 after 1 quarter. I am telling you, Indiana is a playoff choker and Boston beat them in the last years.

Oh well Indiana up 65-43. Pierce and Atkins sat most of the 2nd quarter.

Now count me in as someone who doesn't want Mark Blount. He is Jake Voshkul on a team that is softer than the Suns and he is only like 6'10.

Blount is listed at 7'0". He was in foul trouble and could not be agressive.

I've never assumed he was an elite center. He is taller and more skilled than Jake plus he will be available for around the MLE. The Celtic's defense was so bad that I'm not sure KG would have been much more effective.

Obviously this is all a question of price. I'm guessing that Camby will be at least $3 million a year more expensive in spite of a history of injuries.

The real question is whether Blount or Foyle is the better choice at that MLE price level. Blount has shown a lot more offense and is taller, but Foyle is a better shot blocker.

Mm you are right, I must have mixed that up. Still he is not much of a shotblocker or defender.

And man, the Knicks are pathetic. Kidd is killing Marbury.

And the Spurs are doing whatever they want with the Grizzlies.

Pau Gasol is Duncan's whipping boy.

It is very hard for young players to understand that playoff games are called differently than regular season. It gives an enormous advantage to defense oriented teams like the Spurs.

Well Rockets vs Lakers is just ugly.

The Lakers scored 9 total points. The refs are definately not favoring the Lakers. If anything the Lakers are being screwed.

Yao got away with a lot of non-calls.

Anyone thinks the Lakers could be eliminated early against Houston?

Man I can't stand either of these teams.

If the Lakers get bounced hard and early do you think that affects the Kobe situation for you guys? If he's not getting his way and not winning a championship I think he'd probably rather bolt.

Yes definately.

The only problem I have with it is that it would be the Rockets beating them and we would have to endure all that crap about how Yao is so great and was robbed of ROY etc.

F em. How many of the leagues best players deserved ROY their first years. Kobe and T-Mac didn't. Carmelo won't win it but in a couple years he'll be a top 5-10 player in the league.

The Lakers won going away. Kobe had a big game and the Lakers shut down Yao - or else the Rockets forgot to go to him in the second half.

The Spurs defense has been overwhelming so far against the Grizzlies.
