I am not so sure it's just the Suns defense. Yes there has been really bad defense but as almost every analyst in the NBA predicted the Suns are having trouble with the Lakers size. It's really impacting the game.

I just popped in to see how we were doing. Not so well. But I outsmarted the damn lakers. I tossed in the first episode of the best 14 episode series ever produced. The pilot was great and now I'm going to watch epi number 2 (The Train Job). So screw the Lakers, they can't hurt me anymore!
