A big thing we have that's an advantage is that the Lakers have no PG to penetrate and break apart the zone. They just throw it along the outside and waste time.

What about Smush?

Wanna give props to barbosa (even though I still dislike his game). He hit some huge shots to keep the lakers from gaining any momentum.

10 bucks says that Kobe becomes the defacto Point Guard and Fisher becomes the 2 if the Suns continue to play zone. The Lakers half to. If Kobe gets the ball 100% of time, he can do what the Lakers need to do and break down the zone.

Game 5 is huge, the Suns need to start out and keep the turnovers down and keep the same approach. If we lose we are going down fighting...

Go Suns.

Ironically, that's Kobe's game. Hoist 'em up. Because he's such a great player, he makes a lot of those shots. But he can't do it by himself. And if you think he can, you're in more trouble than you think.

The thing is, every Lakers fan thinks that Game 5 will be a carbon copy of Games 1 and 2. I guarantee you, that won't happen. I will have fun at work tomorrow here in Burbank, but I know the Laker fans will still talk trash and be extremely confident of winning this series. We take Game 5, and it will be very difficult for the Lakers to win Game 6 in Phoenix. Game 5, to me, is the Suns biggest game of the past 2 years.

Even though i root against him Kobe is such a great player, he is enjoyable to watch in q2 and q3, However, if the Suns can gut out game 5, Historically Kobe has shown he will quit when the odds turn against him.

Game 5 in LA, might be as important to the suns franchise as game 7 in 1993 vs Seattle.

I still think we are one three away but I love the ride baby!

Yea, but that means Kobe will be feeding perimeter shooters who aren't as good as he is.

The Suns need to keep Gasol on wraps like tonight. They played an aggressive double team on him and Bynum and messed both of them up.

If you break down the zone that usually means you have trailers as well. The Lakers were doing it a bit in the 1st quarter. Just because Kobe breaks down the zone doesn't mean he has to kick it out to a 3 point shooter.

Seriously, if I was the Lakers that is exactly what I would do. Also, you can bank on them playing booyabitch because he can stroke it when Kobe needs to kick it out.

Yeah, I was wondering where Vujacic was tonight as well.

Not like Artest is defending anybody, might as well have someone out there that can make a three.

Barbosa was huge. I still have no confidence when he hoists one up but it went in. Our bench is crazy nice....

If the LAKERS want to get back in control of this series they're going to have to keep the SUNS off the offensive boards and get "The Gift" more involved offensively where Kobe needs help.

2 years? Game 5 is tied with game 5 against Dallas in 2006 for the biggest game in 17 years.

You're both wrong. Game 5 is the biggest game for the Suns franchise since Game 6 against the Bulls in 1993.

I predicted Suns in 6. But I don't mind Suns in 7 either. The way we have hassled and paid attention on defense, due to zone or not, I truly believe we have a better chance to come out the winner of this series. Nash shot poorly. But we really have equal or better scoring options on all position aside from Kobe. And our bench with confidence is far better than their's.

Funny that in game 2, Lakers' starters pulled away in the 4th after 90:90, against our starters, while in game 4, our reserves pulled away after a similar tie in the 4th, against their starters!
