Maybe Michael can offer to buy the Browns a custom plane that he will pilot as part of his fleet. That way he can do something that actually helps the team.

Seriously, I would offer KM as part of the package. #16 this year, KM, and a sprinkle of later picks? In a heartbeat.

I do that too, but Garrett would view us as the Arizona Browns. I think his trade demand would still stand.

No idea if Garrett would be willing to come, but could argue that it’s a team trending upwards.

From Browns POV Falcons and Cardinals would arguebly be the two team offering the best package due to the higher draft pick. All other teams interested in a trade are drafting in the mid 20’s.
This year’s 1st and next year’s 2nd is my guesstimate.

I don't think he would come here but the people saying trade Murray for him are missing Kyler is the best chance we would have to get Garrett. They're good friends, they played together at A&M in 2015. If you remember after we beat the Browns a couple of years ago they met on the field after the game and were talking on camera, Kyler made some joke about Garrett putting him in his "graveyard."

IF Garrett were to come here I guarantee part of it would be his friendship with Kyler.

But I don't think he's coming here for the same reason most guys like that don't come here, they don't trust the ownership and front office to do everything it takes to win.

Probably the best reason! We can trade the assets to get him but he’s in the background saying no way. Working with the Cardinals would be like the Browns, Jets, Raiders, Jaguars, no thank you.

If that would work, absolutely. We all know he wouldn't want to go to a franchise as inept as ours if his goal is to win a SB...

Can't see us fitting his desired mold of a winning team. He will likely land elsewhere.

I don't think you can discount how much Garrett being two years older could reduce his compensation. Let's start at this, what teams do people think would give up 2 first round picks for Garrett?

Detroit? Washington? Philly? Tampa?

Now of those teams, who has cap space?

Detroit. Washington.

That's kinda the market for two 1sts and I don't know that it leads to a bidding war.

Garrett is older, but he's also better.

I fancy Washington. Plenty of cap space. Good young QB. Not a million miles from where he already is.

FWIW I'm not sure at 29 if he's purely looking at championship teams. He's also going to want a new deal, so getting paid is an important part.

If Cards are offering more than Washington would he still choose Washington? I'm not convinced.
