He will be in the HOF. GUARANTEED!

Dont be to fast with that. Historically WR's have a hard time making it in. Jerry Rice will be the first ballot hall of famer next year and that will be the first time for a WR in like 30 years. Cris Carter has missed out twice now.

two of his teammates have offered to take pay cuts to keep him her with the Cardinals.

BOBCAT

Warner was just a pub stunt becuase the logisitics of it could never actually happen.

Fitz never offered to take a pay cut. A reporter asked him if he would "restructure" and he said yes. It was even his idea and was blown way out of proportion, I mean what else was he supposed to say.

No Doubt in my mind that he will be in the HOF. His numbers are second only to Jerry Rice and he isnt done yet. If a VERY average WR like Lynn Swann can make it in TO is a given regardless of his mouth. Dont matter if its first ballot or 8th ballot. He will make it.

I'm not so sure about that Shane. Lot's of people don't like him and that includes voters. Everybody likes Lynn Swann. And, when you look at how long it took Art Monk to make it (and he had just about every major WR record when he retired) his position doesn't help his cuase.

It's been very quiet on the Boldin front. Graves didn't mention him when talking about his priorities for the Cards. The company line is that they want him back but,if they get offered a big deal,he's going to be traded. They didn't use a 3rd round pick on Doucet with the idea of him sitting. Just like they plannned for Smith's departure by with the drafting of Campbell. The WR market has pretty much dried up which increases Boldin's value. A #1 (21st) and #2 from Philly is a good starting point. We could potentially draft Rey Maulauga, Alex Mack, Donald Brown, and, just to appease some of you, Pat White in the first 2 rounds.

Warner argued with Haley openly more than once and unless you knew what was said, then it is hard to really say how big of a distraction it was...we freakin' scored. If you put on a scale what Boldin has done for the team in opposition to what he has done against it...the side with the against would not even register. And maybe we need to stop looking at this from a logic of position and having too many high priced WRs...maybe, just maybe we need to see it for what it is...he is a football player and a playmaker and the more playmakers you have on the field regardless of position you have a much better ability to score. With the lineup of Warner, Boldin and Fitz we lite up the best defense in the league on the biggest stage...guys, this offense works. I would not mind Boldin back one bit and if not we can survive with Breaston but...Q is special and Q with Fitz and Breaston is very very special. Q is a football player, a playmaker who has given more to the Cardinals than a majority of the guys on the current roster

Get rid of them both (Q & Edge) and use that money to re-tool and fill-in holes/depth

There is less than a 5% chance that the Cards are going back to the SB next year but they can set themselves up for a decade

The Bills went 4 years in a row. Why not the Cards (with the exception of winning at least a game or two)....

He may decide to sit out the last year of his contract just for spite and then we get nothing, trade him now!

He can't sit out the final year of a contract and enter free agency.

I can never see Boldin waiting his turn and then signing with us again.

New agent for Boldin? The soap opera continues.

I will say this...the Cardinals need to either sign Boldin long term and trade Breaston this year OR trade Boldin this year and extend Breaston. I would hate to see not get anything for these two solid receivers.

1. Boldin is under contract for two more seasons.
2. Breaston is under contract and can be restricted at a future date.

Crazy, like most people on this board, I am aware of Boldin's contract length. I could however be mistaken in the fact that I believe Breaston is a free agent next year. If I am incorrect, then this is all irrelevant. If I am correct, than we need to figure out who we want to keep that way we can get something for the other player rather than just letting him go.

Perhaps Breaston is a free agent after next season, but he is restricted and subject to a tender. The chances of the Cards losing him are slim and none.

I just purchased my 3rd Boldin jersey today...so my question is:

What is he asking as far as $ to have his contract "redone"?
