Dude you are ridiculous. The second you question anyone on here’s fandom you just turn yourself into a clown. Who the hell would chose to be a fair weather cardinal fan? Also better than 95% of all time cardinals? He’s not even a top 5 QB for this franchise YET. You are doing the same thing you are calling everyone out about on the other side except they haven’t called you a fair weather fan and your out.

You’re obviously struggling to read. I said that 3 GAMES INTO HIS CAREER, he’s better than 95% of Cardinal players at a similar point in their careers. Only OJ Anderson and Boldin showed a similar potential this early.

I am not sure why this debate continues on either side.

"We will see...."

There. Done.

That is the only fact. For Murray, for Kingsbury, etc.

Any statement outside of that is opinion. I state mine and leave it be.

Someone gets butthurt from my opinion, and says I am not a fan? *yawn*

That happens EVERY YEAR.

If the same poster says it enough and that is ALL they say? Ignore.

I will root for the team and talk about them however I want. If people do not like it, I am sure I will sleep well.

Seriously, I blame politics. Some people, not all and not PACardsfan, these days will burn down thier house with everything they live for inside just to be "right" or even worse just to "piss someone else off".

Its football, it is not important.

Yeah my issue is reading comprehension, never was a fan.

No one is perfect, so I’m sure I didn’t say that. I’ll emphasize what he does well. His detractors will emphasize his mistakes, even if his mistakes pale in comparison. That’s the difference right now between the Pro-Murray group and the other “lot”.

I'm with Rugby.

I think you are reading the game log backwards. His first 3 were the bottom 3 on the list.

Not that he didn't show some real promise in those 3 games, but all in all they weren't anything too special.
I believe he’s the only player in cards history to have a rushing TD receiving TD and a kick return TD through his first 3 games. That’s pretty amazing.

It's the anonymity of the internet. People say things and use derogatory words and phrases that most would never use face to face. I think anyway. Kindness is, sadly, disappearing.

He was barely used in his first two games. That's why I said by the end of the 3rd game he looked pretty good. He had over 200 yards his 3rd game when he started getting more touches.

continuing to slam others as not "real" fans because they aren't 1000% in on Kyler yet is HORSE-MANURE... and that's coming from someone who is super excited about what he brings to the table so far and even more excited about what the future holds.

While he wasn't used a lot in the first two games, the first time he ever touched the ball, the dude looked special, taking that 5 yard swing pass across the field, getting to the corner and leaving all the Saints in the dust for a 50 yard TD catch and run to ice the game late in the fourth 31-19. Right then and there, the kid looked like a possible eye-popping talent, so I agree... the idea that he didn't look special three games into his rookie season either seems like revisionist history and people don't remember what happened.

the Bears game just put the emphatic stamp on what he'd shown in the previous two games.

I don't know about polarizing or all of the controversy on the board. I only know that I have been a Cardinals fan for over 40 years and have seen the few ups and the many downs that this team has had through the years.

I will follow them, root for them and see what happens. I don't know how this recent incarnation will go, will KK turn into a solid HC or another 2 or 3 year tenure and then on to the next? I don't know if KM will be a true QBOF or not, I hope so. If not, then we continue to wait for that one to come along.

But, I am 66 years old today and don't know how many more years I have and my moribund, feckless franchise will be here long after I have gone. And to the end I will be a Cardinals fan. Why? I don't know but I am.

My friends, moan, groan, express your frustrations but don't sink into incivility and attack on your fellow fans. We are all better than that. It's only a game.
Well said TRW. Personal attacks are uncalled for but negative comments about this team show fans care and have been warranted the last 3 years because management put them in this position not us fans. I went to yesterday’s game and you can say support your team win or lose but spending almost $100 on a ticket and parking pass to see your team play with little or no pride on both offense and defense is a little upsetting. We are now 4 weeks into season and seem to be regressing the last two weeks.

I would say the silver lining is we have a shot at a LT like Andrew Thomas in draft but WAS looks to be ahead of us in current draft order and they will almost certainly be looking for a replacement for Williams at LT.

I hope this team turns it around this season but from the last 2 years experience we are looking like a Top 5 pick team.

I think in typical cardianl fashion we will win a couple of meaningless games to move down the draft slot because we always squeeze a few wins in a bad season. They will get it together by the second half or will just luck out on a few wins. So we'll miss out on the top OT prospect while we have a chance at a DE/DT or another OT. Keim will not trade up under any circumstance to grab the top OT.

Well, I support this team win or lose, but I can't afford to go the games.

As far as negative comments, I don't blame ANY Cardinal fan having some criticism of the team. It's just the snarky, personal, sometimes vicious responses to other posters that are uncalled for IMO.

But, I don't lose sleep over it. I'm not a moderator on the board so it doesn't matter what I think, I can't do anything about it any way.

Good post sir, thank you. Agree with you about the snarky and personal posts, and I apologize to everyone for really going off the rails last week.

Yes he is. Asians never get their due. Tiger Wood's is more Asian than anything, yet hardly ever is he considered an Asian golfer. In another 100 years, we'll finally all just be called "Americans".
