Not sure what report states that though. Google News search only comes up MHs agent stating he did NOT fire the weapon.

Of all the places to own a bar, why would he pick North Philly? There are two places you don't go in Philadelphia ... north and west.
The bar & car wash are at 25th & Thompson...don't know if that helps you pinpoint it any.

sure does - definitely not a nice area, but not as scary as others - i think i've actually walked near that neighborhood

i used to live by the art museum and was looking to walk over by the river - i had my roomate with me who was about 5'4 and 160 - took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up on the north side of girard college

since the college was walled in there was really no way to turn back to the south so we kept walking north - took some other diagonal street and connected into 19th which we took back down to spring garden

No Way

Witness is coming forward to state that Marvin shot the gun. He tried to get rid of it at his car wash (the car wash that MARVIN OWNS). He WILL be doing time for this one....that's one dumb fool.

I'm not a Indy fan by any means but I know the politics of stardom well enough to know that he'll never do time. If anything you're looking at probation, being that he's never been arrested before (assuming) and his reputation. The real story will be how Goodel reacts to a respected star on a class franchise. I can just hear holy man Dungy and squeaky clean Manning coming out in his defense.

Yeah, no kidding. Even Starky and Hutch would have figured that one out in 30 minutes.

Ya I am just shocked by this....if I went through the entire Colts roster and ranked them top to bottom of who was most likely to shoot at someone, I might have even put him at the bottom, below Peyton. Cause at least Peyton shows some fire and gets mad about things, I have never seen Marvin even get pissed about something. This is truly amazing.

Hell, Peyton would be at the top of my list:

plenty of good places - i absolutely love philadelphia - i try to think of the city like a dart board - the double bulls eye is center city you're perfectly fine here - the single bulls eye would take you down past south street into some of the not so bad south philly neighborhoods, up to fairmont ave and into university city - you may see some stuff there, but all in all you're fine

the big single point area is for the most part sections you want to avoid

then you get out in the double scoring area and you can consider that the suburbs which are typical of suburbs

that no scoring area that sucks - we call that jersery

(JG - I keed, I keed)

Check this out, via PFT;

PFT said:
We were alerted last night to some eye-popping claims regarding the Marvin Harrison case made by Philly sports anchor Keith Russell during a Monday afternoon radio spot in Miami. And so we tracked down the audio, and we have given it a listen.

Appearing with Jason Jackson on WQAM, Russell said that his sources tell him that the guy who was allegedly shot in the hand after leaving Harrison’s bar last Tuesday had come to the establishment to carry out a gangland-style “hit.”

A “hit” on Harrison.

Seriously.

Russell said during the segment that the issue relates to Harrison’s father, who is (per Russell) incarcerated, and that the supposed “hit” was in retaliation for something Harrison’s father supposedly had done.

Media sources in Philadelphia tell us that the contention, which Russell apparently hasn’t made on the air in his home market, is simply not true.

Russell also said that there are “people who are willing to do whatever is necessary” to keep Harrison from facing charges.

agreed....BS.

Cops may be dumb, but they won't mess this one up. I'll bet they are lining up the DA right now. They know that this entire trial will be on public tv. They will not want to be seen as a bunch of hillbilly's. They are going to make sure everything is lined up before his arrest.

My bet is that he is officially arrested in the next 48 hours.

He will see the inside of a prison. He will put up bail and be released. He will be given a 4 or 6 game suspension. The time table for the trial will take about a year and he'll do prison time the second the season is over. My guess is that he'll get a 6 month prison term for firing a handgun in public and he'll have to do 3-4 months of time and he'll have 2 years probation.

Wow.

And THAT, my friends, is what you get with a gun crime.

Something about the word "gun", gets cops, DA's, and Judges all upset.
