1st round picks are supposed to justify their draft status about 50% of the time. You tell me which of Graves' first rounders did that:

'97. Wadsworth
'98. Boston
'99. Shelton
'00. Thomas Jones
'01. Leonard Davis
'02. Wendell Bryant
'03. Calvin pace
'03. Bryant Johnson

I dislike Graves as much as anyone here, but you need to get your facts straight. Graves didn't even have direct player involvement until he was named admin of scouting in 1998. I hope you understand what a scout does and I don't need to explain that. With the title of "administrator" of scouts, I would argue he wasn't even making the talent observations.

He wasn't even directly involved with roster related decisions until 2002 when he was promoted to VP of FO. Bob Ferguson was the GM who picked Shelton, Jones, Davis and Bryant and was involved in those decisions in a non official capacity prior to that. He was fired after the 2002 season which opened the door for Graves

Once again your arrogant rants are off base

Graves was in charge of the scouting from 98 on, take it how you want.

btw, I am coming to AZ this year and I am holding you to that welcoming party.

Ideally we would keep both but, if you had to choose one to keep, who would you rather have,Dansby or Boldin? I expect Boldin to be the choice but,to me, it's not even an argument. I would much rather keep Dansby. He's the best defensive at ,arguably, the Cards weakest position. We have Breaston,Doucet, and a very deep WR corp that Boldin is #2 on yet i read where people are happy that Dansby's money next year can be used for Boldin.

Graves was an assistant to Bill Bidwill up until he was promoted to vice president-football operations after the 2002 season. After that promotion, the Cardinals truly became his team IMO. So I look at what Graves has done since 2003 to measure what he means to this team.

I didn't like the trade in 2003 that landed us Pace and Johnson. I wanted them to take Trufant initially and I thought that the Saints got the better deal with that trade.

Still the 2003 draft was a very solid one that netted us Pace, Johnson, Boldin, Hayes, and Wells. Three of those players were an integral part of our Super Bowl run last year and are still on this team today.

I think 2005 was a crappy draft for Graves.
