With all the conversation surrounding Josh McCown ,quite frankly I really don't know what pct. of us thinks he should be starting or be benched. There is no need to comment, unless you would like to. I think it would be interesting to see theresults. Simply , starting or sitting.

Yes but Green needs to open up the offense. I don't put all the blame on Josh at this time because the play calling has been so conservative. If they are going to make the playoffs the offense has to get better. It is about time the offense starts making some noise. So if Green doesn’t have enough faith in Josh to open it up then a switch has to be made.

Agreed. Boldin and Fitz have shown that they can make plays. Josh just needs to get the ball near these guys and they'll make him look good.

but pulled if not handling Carolina's pressure early.
I voted this way also...but I have to keep telling myself that if Josh had been pulled against Miami after his dreadful first half...we would not have got the come back he gave us. But I will defer to DG as always.

Yeah, Slan but even the detracters have said he deserves another start or two. It would be even more interesting to have a poll to see if the DG bashers still think he is the wrong choice for our team. Now that I think would be a landslide.

You may be right, Rats. I just wanted to see the results ofour members on who shuld be our starting qb today, right now. If Josh has another stinker Sunday and we win it will be interseting around here.
If Josh has another stinker and we lose..........well get ready for a server meltdown!

I say he still is the starter I just don't think King is good enough to be the starter.

Already had that poll and I think Green won easily.

If Josh gets dinged again, he damned well better be pulled. Not pulling him last week after the concussion was one of the few times I think Denny Green has screwed up this year.

McCown should definitely start for the remainder of this season. But I think DG will not hesitate to pull Josh from here on out. A win this weekend will put us in prime position for a playoff run. DG knows that & will put the team before anything else. I think DG used the 1st half to try & build Josh's confidence. Now it's all about making the playoffs & DG will react accordingly. Even if Josh $hits the bed Sunday & King plays well, Josh should still continue to start with King prepared to come in at a moments notice.

You could also keep telling yourself that had he been pulled - we might have actually moved the ball in the third quarter and not have needed that comeback that we had. It cuts both ways Rats.
