"poor" is kind of a bad choice in words huh?

LOL.

It really sucks for you guys in AZ. Poisonous snakes, and bugs. You gotta have your wits about you about that stuff.

I am very fortunate, and realize this because of the countless stories from you guys in the desert that, while I have poisonous snakes up north, they never go near your house.

I do have 2 rat snakes that live under the "sealed" in portion of my foundation of my house (long story about my very old house). I love having them. They take care of the mice, and don't bother us in the least.

Unfortunately, you guys can't take those types of chances in the least. Stay safe out there.

That's who I would have called.

"Yo, Johnny Outdoors, I got a flippin' snake in my house, why don't you come over here and uh... do your thing."

Next morning.

Whiz: "Good morning Kevin, nice belt. Where'd you get it ?"

:waitsforPETAreplies: :D

Hmmm....We're playing the Redskins and our QBs are all Hog Hunters. May be a good sign.

Isn't his house on top of a hill? I lived almost all my life in a house not far from his and the worst I've seen was a cockroach.

honestly -- its far more reputation than reality.

I am the 'snake guy' in my neighborhood -- people all think they have a rattlesnake in their garage or on their patio and they call me. They have all been harmless gophersnakes.

My son and I go out looking for snakes in the desert. It takes a lot of intentional looking to find a rattlesnake.

There are bark scorpions -- little things but venomous. Stings hurt like all else, but unless you are an infant, elderly or allergic -- not life threatening. The remainder of scorpions are like bee stings. Tarantulas are even less than that.

I live in South Texas, and have killed three rattlesnakes at the house so far. Have a cat who killed two. It has been so dry here , that the snakes are desperate for water and cooling down on something like a car port's pavement. School track is next door and they killed two rattlers so far...unreal for even here

Saw it now too off his facebook, Larry was safe. It is not a rattler and what us in Texas call a Bull snake or Rat snake. They are not poisonous, and they eat rodents and will even go after a Rattler
