who shoots a higher fg%, kobe bryant or quentin richardson???

Q spent the first 10 games unable to throw it into the ocean, yet he's now sitting at 39.4% (1/1 in clutch shots) & Kobe is at 39.0% (0/1 clutch shots).

of course, the problem with this comparison is that Q takes 90% of his shots wide open, while 10% of kobe's shots are wide open, if that. nevertheless, interesting stat

Make sure Kobe doesnt read this. If he gets pissed at you, he'll accuse you of hitting on his wife too...

Seriously though. Q has stepped it up. He fills up the stat sheet ala Marion (but not as much obviously)

These guys have me pumped. Amen brotha....

over the first 11: 29% total, 22.5% from 3

over the last 10: 48% total, 44.4% from 3

(of course, the 6 boards, 2 asts, and steal are there throughout like clockwork)

jeez, its like night and day. someone must have flipped the switch.

the funny thing is that it didn't matter as far as wins or margin of victory. if q's great, we blow out the opposition, if q sucks, we blow out the opposition.

seriously though, QRich? shooting 48% over a 10 game span???

i want to see when and how much he cools off before i decide what to make of this.

I think that Q is becoming more familiar with the Suns offense and is getting more points WITHIN the offense rather than forcing things. He learned that he doesn't need to take contested threes because he will get open ones in this offense.

In any case, I think Q's hard work on defense and his 5 assists showed that his game is vastly different than when he was a Clipper.

That would be the simple answer, but I think the truth is that Q runs hot and cold. Right now he is in one of his hot periods. He could cool off at any time. Q was taking contested three-point shots in the first 10 games, but he still does. He's just making more of them now. In that first 10 games he was also missing A LOT of open shots.

I think all we can do is just hope that he runs hot at the right times (playoffs). Is not the greatest defender, but he's very good on the boards. I also think his passing skills have improved as he's become more familiar with the offense and his teammates.
