I am completely against trading Amare though. He is 26 years old and we know the capability he has and the natural talent with a potential to be even greater in the future. I second everything you said.

A little reservation is about shipping Nash. He is old. But if Porter was the main reason he didn't buy into playing a role with a lot less ball handling, we might hope that another coach with more authority might convince him. When he has the shooting touch, he is clutch and deadly, which can cover for his weakness on defense.
