This is something to watch! No team has ever come back from 0-3 and won a seven game series. Portland has eaten them up the past three games and they may just make history. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Suns fan and always have been...just being in the city and seeing the people go from no hope to an electric feeling in the air from their excitment is pretty cool. I hope they pull it off and am sorry they don't meet L.A. in the next round. I think the teams left in the west can beat L.A., but Portland is the only one who is mean enough and physical enough to put a hurtin' on them.

Who do you want to win the series?

Good question.

Being that I am from Dallas, I sort of follow the Mavs (from a very, very far). But I dont really care who wins now that the Suns have "gone fishing".

I'd have to say that I'd like to see Portland win, since there is nothing as humiliating as a backdoor sweep in the NBA playoffs. Plus, I get the feeling that Mark Cuban would pitch a fit and tear his team apart outside of Nash, Nowitski and possibly Finley...paving the way for an easier 2003-2004 for the Suns.

I like that way of thinking Charles. I too am always looking for what a team's success or demise will do for the Phoenix Suns or their image. However in this series I didn't find anything on my own.

I know a lot of people in this message board like Marc Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks. I'm not sure why it is, but I do not. If they go out and acquire Karl Malone this summer they might just become my least favorite team in the NBA.

The bottom line is that usually if I do not feel one way or another about two teams in a series I will root for the underdog. It would be a huge upset if Portland won on Sunday coming back from a 0-3 deficit.

What I find most interesting about the series is that Portland is doing it with two guys that weren't a big part of the team during the regular season - Zach Randolf and Stoudamire. It's really been a ressurection for Damon who sure looked like he was dead, buried and forgotten as far as Portland was concerned. Randolf had some flashes during the year - I coveted him for the Suns a couple of years ago when he tore up the summer leagues for Portland... mighty good looking PF for a #20 pick!

Joe, I think a lot of the reason many of us like Dallas is that they are so connected to the Suns. Right now they only have Nash and Finley who were fan favorites when they were here. They might have someone else now but I can't remember who. And for many years a large part of the team were former Suns. Remember when they used to say that a Suns/Mavs game was like a Suns reunion?

And Donnie Nelson used to be on the Suns bench. It also seems like when Dallas was rebuilding that they looked at the Suns as a model of success and were trying to be like the Suns.

Plus like you I have usually supported the underdog and Dallas for years was the underdog. But now I'm torn because Portland is the underdog and I'm having a hard time not hoping they pull off an upset.

I missed a good portion of the first half, but I was just thinking that Walton hasn't annoyed me nearly as much as usual.

You can really tell that Tolbert and Walton don't like each other very much.

why doesnt anyone get a tech for spiking the ball anymore??? I think it was wallace who just slammed it on the ground while walking to the bench for a TO. I mean it went up like 20 feet. Didn't that almost always result in an automatic technical?

Ah, lucky you Joe. He is talking up Sabonis' body and calling him the best player on the Blazers in every aspect. I used to think he just had a crush on Shaq, but it appears he just likes big men. Walton is the worst ever!

The Blazers were 3 minutes short of completing the greatest upset in the history of the NBA.

that must be a poopy feeling to know that they fell apart in the final 3 minutes.

Well they must enjoy it because they've done it before. And unless something changes they'll do it again.
