This is part of an article on Yahoo about the suns and Blazers.
-------------------------------------------------
This will be the first time we see Brandon Roy who was out with an injury the last time they played.

Portland (12-15) wasted a seven-point lead in the final 4 1/2 minutes of regulation, and lost on rookie Andrea Bargnani's 20-footer with 3.5 seconds left in overtime.
"We had every opportunity to win, but you've got to make plays," Portland coach Nate McMillan said.
Rookie Brandon Roy had 16 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for the Blazers in his second game back from a foot injury.
The Suns have won seven of eight against the Blazers, including a 119-101 victory at Portland on Nov. 26 behind Raja Bell's 30 points in the only meeting this season.
The Blazers have lost 10 of 12 in Phoenix.

Why is Amare missing, dropping, losing the passes from Nash? It appears he is not ready for them even when he is close to the basket.

Marion is the aggresive one with the energy tonight! He is playing great.

I can not imagine D'Antoni ever trading Marion the way he runs and the speed he gives this team. He even did a great post up play tonight!

In other NBA action, the Spurs lose, droping to 8 in the loss column, and AI drops 14 dimes for the Nuggets.

If AI, sees his future as a distributing pg (which he no doubt has the talent to become), the Nuggets are very scary.

Looks like Jumaine took James job.

I really like what Jumaine Jones brings to the Suns as a 8th man. He is big, active and can hit the 3-point shot. He also seems to bring some competiton for Jalen Rose, Marcus Banks and James Jones to get some playing time. I think the latter three players really tried to get D'Antoni's attention. They played some serious basketball down the stretch instead of the Burke launch a 3 machine.

He's been dropping dimes all season long.

Perhaps, but this is not his strength. He might more resemble Marbury as a PG except with more talent in this role. However, no doubt AI can take over a game if he so chooses. IMO, this is when he really becomes scary... especially late in the game when he decides to dominate. I'm not sure how the other players, especially Carmello, will react when he does.

In the end, we are hoping for bad chemistry in Denver, and that's usually not a great thing.

Last year, many assumed that Payton, Walker, Shaq, and Wade could not co-exist.

I think they need to move some West teams to the East this year. It just doesn't seem fair at all. I could see 7 teams in the Western Conference beating the beat East team.
