Without THT and his run this is possibly in the top 5 worst Cards games I have witnessed. The team had no spark(save THT) and was poorly prepared. Complete fail top to bottom. But I did love that the chemistry added something to it. Don't you think?

+1

As I stated this team looks completely like it doesn't believe.

Positives?? Hmmmm??

Welllll, (long pause) I didn't see any of our "key" guys get hurt. ...And 1 ugly loss = Just that. 1 ugly loss. Period. ....And ...And...OK! I'm DONE! :) But, honestly, opening on the road, season-opener for 2 teams, and we split?? I'll take it. This does make the Raider game a must game now, though. The Chargers & Saints might score 50+ points on us! GO CARDS! :D

If the Seattle/Denver game goes as I think it will, we'll remain tied for first in our division.

Plus, Max Hall got into the game and -- in the 9 seconds prior to his first NFL interception -- proved to be a real spark plug for the offense.

Whoo hoo!

The most important positives to me today were:

1. There are only 60 minutes in the game.
2. You can only lose once per game.

I just hope whis can get past his ego with this and bench that piece of garbage.

Do you really believe that Max Hall could have somehow tackled Snelling today? Or put pressure on Ryan? Or some how stopped out mental midgets from committing another 10 penalities? Or leading Joey Porter to the fountain of youth??

Whats the point of half those questions? Hall doesn't play defense. He is a QB, one that we might want to consider moving along a little quicker now that we know DA is a bust.

Yes... recovered by Levi.

Strike another positive out

At least Levi wasn't standing around for once. That's a positive.

Missed watching or being at a Cardinal game for the first time in many years is another positive.

So we dont need a QB??? Just a defense?? Last time I checked a good QB helps keep a defense on the sidelines by moving the ball and keeping TOP in check.

Come on man get off DA's jock. He sucks, and sucks bad.

As for the penalties, you cannot really think most of those would be called in most games. Not saying they were not legit, but most were very ticky tack and you had to have seen that.

And as for the D I am not letting them off the hook. But first and foremost DA is supposed to lead this team. He doesnt and if anything hurts this team. You and I dont usually agree on much but reallt you see having a better QB as not helping???

Stats are so deceiving it's more like Tim had 1 run for 80 yards and 10 for 35

Sorry but it's hard to look at any postives when the team as a whole got it's butt kicked and embarassed

So should they change the passing yards when a QB throws a 5 yard out and the receiver breaks it for 89 yds and a TD?

So, at the end of this 16 game schedule, would you take it if Timmy averged 3.5 yards per carry, even AFTER removing his 16 longest runs? Because I sure would.

I wonder what Chris Johnson average per carry was during last years 2,000 yard season removing his longest run from each of his 16 games?

Depending on whether or not you subtract both of two rushes when tied (5 times) for longest of each game :
Games with two equal longest runs:
vs. HOU - 2 x 91
vs. JAC - 2 x 89
vs. ARI - 2 x 85
vs. STL - 2 x 39
vs. SD - 2 x 30

1036/337 = 3.07 (subtracting both rushes tied for longest in 5 games)

or

1370/342 = 4.0 (subtracting only one of two equal longest runs)

Actual
2006/358 = 5.6

The point being, when dealing with statistics one must consider the whole; i.e. - not de-select data points which are counter to the argument one wishes to present. Otherwise it is misrepresentation of reality.

And, yes I do have too much time on my hands today... :p

Hightower finally had a big run....too bad it was followed up with a bunch of small ones! Oh its a positive CKW made a huge mistake cutting Leinart to go with DA as QB for this team, yeah yeah I know its early for some of you its going to take six games of DA being pathetic to come to this conclusion. This season was lost the minute CKW decided to hitch this teams wagon to DA period!
