I have a feeling we end up signing someone like Revis. He would be a very Antonio Cromartie kind of signing. But I don't think anything happens on this front until right before camp.

I'm not as worried about Bethel/Williams as a lot of other people on the board, but I am reasonably concerned about depth and veteran leadership. Personally, I want an elder statesman that has solid technique that can be a voice in that cornerback room. Even Pat P. is young and still needs the leadership, IMO. It's why I think Revis would be such a fit.

don't be surprised if Harlan Miller is the starting #2 CB come opening day

yes, i hope so, now we are set at safety, we just need him on the outside
he has more chance to affer a solid contribute instead 2 mediocre players like bethel and williams

I'd like to see how the youngins do before signing a vet. I'm willing to bet one or two of them emerge.

The biggest part of the failure of the 2cb is the lack of help behind him. Yes it's a cat defense but still someone has to back him up and HB was hurt.

He looked lost at CB and decent at safety. I think the latter is his roster path despite the competition.

Did you watch him in preaseason / camp last year?

He is lousy at man coverage. He will make it at safety or not at all.

Preseason against Chargers. Did look good tackling.
preseason is pretty hard for a rookie cornerback, coming in a new system, try to adapt to nfl speed, we can judge him for what he has done in the regular matches in the end of the season

we still waiting bethel after six mediocre season, we can give him a chance to show what he can do

Revis is DONE. Just way to slow.

We have to sign someone, unless Bouka surprises. Toler would be as good as cooper I would think, not a bad option if he is available.

I have zero faith in Brandon Williams, seems like he has no awareness and a total inability to even jam a receiver, didn't even do anything on special teams. I would cut him now if I was in charge.

saw that show last year. I literally have ZERO reason it's going to be better as a rerun... considering that Bethel is in his FIFTH season and Williams looked like he didn't even belong in the WLAF.

It's called playing the professional level after only one year of experience in college... to give up on Williams after one year would be complete idiocy but by the same token to rely on him in only his second year would not be all too bright
