Well, Frank Kaminsky it is. Was hoping for a much better rebounder and defender. Team is looking way too soft for my taste.

Just by going on straight stats, you are probably correct, however, there are two things that Baynes has that Holmes didn't: 1) He is much more of a banger/enforcer, something we all agree is something that Ayton needs to learn, and 2) He can shoot and actually make 3 point shots. Holmes didn't even attempt a 3-pointer last year.

Holmes took and made a higher percentage of threes a couple years ago with Philly than Baynes did last year. Holmes can absolutely shoot the 3, at least at a similar level to Baynes. He was simply asked not to for us last year. I agree with your first point though.
