Feel free to post your own mock draft.
Here's my 3.0 list:
RD. 1 (07) – Chance Warmack OG, Alabama
Pro Bowl potential and possibly the safest pick in the draft. Fills both BPA and need criteria. It's time to bring a physical presence to our OL, and bolster a running game that was ranked 32nd in the NFL. Yes, 32nd.
RD. 2 (38) – Barrett Jones C, Alabama
His name has been awfully quiet recently. With the emergence of Frederick and Schwenke, look out for a possible slip to the 2nd. Paired up with his former teammate, Chance Warmack, these two will be a dominant force up front.
RD. 3 (69) – Phillip Thomas FS, Fresno State
We all know about our safety situation. This guy is fast, physical, and fluid. Slide Rhodes over to SS (where he played very well this past season in place of an injured AW), and we've got one hell of a secondary.
RD. 4 (100) – Tyrann Mathieu CB, LSU
He didn't exactly "impress" at the combine. However, he's got plenty of talent and is well worth the risk at 100. Leaders like Patrick Peterson and Larry Fitzgerald will keep him on the straight and narrow. Too small? Tell that to Antoine Winfield.
RD. 5 (133) – Nico Johnson ILB, Alabama
Cardinals defense were ranked 28th against the run. With that said, we need changes at ILB (Lenon isn't getting any younger, either). Insert Johnson, who has played in a 3-4 scheme at Alabama and often over-shadowed by other teammates.
RD. 6 (164) – Sean Renfree QB, Duke
Keim said it, we need to draft a QB every year. Well here he is. Arizona native and a possible sleeper.
RD. 6 (Vikings) – Michael Williams TE, Alabama
Arians loves to run a double TE set. He also loves it when his TE's can block. Williams can do just that.
