Topping the list for the Sooners? Mr. Brian Bosworth!
He's still the only player to win the butkus award twice, and was an unholy terror on the field in college. He signed with the Seahawks in 1987. At the time, it was both the biggest rookie contract in history, and the biggest contract in franchise history.
He was a juicer however, and was able to play in only 24 games before injuries cut his career short.
After being hyped almost beyond comprehension as a rookie, the depth of the disappointment caused by his poor pro performance was staggering.
