We tend to think signing him is just another nail in Bledsoe's coffin, but I'm thinking there's a little bit of talk about him being a Tucker replacement.

I'm Goran and I'm Zoran, we will pump you up!

Too bad the guy isn't 6'10+. We need size!!!

A long time ago I was pretty convinced he had no place in the NBA. Now that he's going to play for us though, I'm pretty sure he's a borderline star in the making.

Not crazy about this one. He barely cracks 30% from the euro 3... with euro defenders on him.

I think Miles is gonna demand that we trade for Mason. And you can't blame him, it's not fair if Kieff and Goran get their brothers on the team.

Trade for Mason Plumlee and then also acquire the Zeller brothers. And sign two more PGs THEN, we'll be good.

Think about it this way, you sign Zoran to a small contract to be the last guy off the bench who never plays anyway. In return you get his 3rd Team All-NBA brother to feel better about signing a contract extension, maybe even for a home-town discount. This is a no-brainer.

But you also run a risk here too. If Zoran believes he's a rotation player and we just use him for practice fodder it could create conflict. I'm not saying it will happen but I do see room for concern.

He should only be here if he is good enough to be here. Otherwise it will backfire. Dangerous signing.

Yeah, I feel the same about the Morris brothers. Are they going to want the same contract? Is one going to be willing to stay without the other? I'm pretty interested in keeping Markieff, but I don't give a hoot what happens with Marcus.

With Goran and Zoran, if Zoran's European shooting issues get magnified in the NBA he won't be a serviceable player. How much would Goran like it if come next summer he is talking contract to a team that is likely to release his brother in the near future?

I think everyone knows how I feel about it. I have been wanting the Suns to give him a look. What better team to give him his opportunity.

I really don't think the Suns are doing it just to appease Goran. I don't think they needed to. Zoran has some legitimate talent and he works hard on both ends of the court. Plus, he's feisty like his older brother. Time will tell but I think he can fit in well with this team.

If you like what you see in Goran, and Zoran shows the same qualities, plus he is bigger, I suppose it is tempting. Hopefully its the Suns having an edge because Goran is here rather than Zoran having an edge because Goran is here.

I was just wondering if he is a lefty or not.

Watching him reminds me a little of a young Dan Majerle. Just that determination.

Hmm, upon reviewing the highlights it seems that Zoran has an extremely similar game to Goran (which i guess isn't THAT surprising). General question for those that have seen him play more, what else does he bring to the table besides size compared to Goran?

If he is signed, I am pretty confident 1-2 guards will be shipped out. I think there's a solid probability that a S&T deal w/ Bledsoe may already be in place and the Suns were just waiting for this deal ...

There is another guard in the pipeline you know... Bogdan. During the Serbia vs France game the announcer said that Bog played point for his Russian league team this past season. It was forced by injuries but still he must be a pretty decent ball handler.

Indeed.

How exciting would it be if the Suns hit pay dirt on all three of their first round picks in T.J. Warren, Tyler Ennis and Bogdan Bogdanovic?

Bogdanovic played point for Partizan (Belgrade, Serbia) once Westerman went down with an injury. This isn't really unusual as many Euros start learning/ playing point before they grow into a different position.

I don't follow Euro basketball as closely as I used to, but from what I've seen, this kid is just flat-out nasty. He has the SF size, can shoot the ball like a shooting guard and handle the ball like a point guard. He has an insane wingspan (pretty sure he has a seven-foot wingspan ) and has absolutely no fear. He is actually a decent defender though his awareness as not fully developed. He is fine one on one, but gets lost in rotations, and he gambles a bit too much trying to get steals. He is pretty athletic and agile as well.

Give him two years under Obradovic (likely the best European coach out there) in Fenerbahce and he'll be a beast by the time he gets to the NBA.
