bingo.

and no... parking in my area is a freaking BEEEEEYATCH!

it would be hilarious to have like twenty of us just completely crammed and slammed in my apartment. I'm offering up @Ouchie-Z-Clown 's backyard instead... or maybe @TJ 's. Ouchie's will be a hike down in OC.

Sure, but you all have babysitting duties while youre here

I’m enjoying us flying under the radar. We can keep doing it until I’m partying in SoFi and will only have to take an Uber to get to back to my apartment for the AFTER PARTY!

That’s right folks... ALL OF YOU GONNA CRAM INTO MY ONE-BEDROOM APARTMENT FOR THE SUPER BOWL AFTERPARTY!
Ill cook the Chinese food.

The hilarity of this nimrod from SI putting the Cards in 7th is that these **weekly** power rankings SHOULD reflect where we are today - not some projection of failure down the road. And given that context, NFW you can put the Cards anywhere but 1 today. It's indefensible not to.

Now if the context instead was "this is my weekly update on where I think everyone will finish", then that's another kettle of fish, and much more sellable to say that Team X is going to be way better (or worse) than their current record may reflect. But that's not the premise here. Therefore this guy is a certified jackass.

This is a replay of what the national media did to the 49ers in 1981, their first Super Bowl year, and the first of 4 titles that decade. They got ZERO respect for most of the season, among the snubs getting shunned weekly on the halftime highlights show on MNF, which were "a thing" back then, as they were dramatically narrated by the legendary Howard Cosell, and only showed the top games of the weekend. The 49ers used this disrespect as motivation all season long. I fully expect that the leaders in the Cards locker room are making sure that everyone is aware of the lack of respect, and are also using it as motivation. Let's all hope it continues!

#7 on SI - thanks for the motivation dip chips

7. Arizona Cardinals (6—0)

Last week: Win at Cleveland, 37–14
Next week: vs. Houston

You have to feel great about the defense as well as the individual play of Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. What’s worrisome is an offensive system that requires the quarterback to maintain an MVP level over 17 games. They’ve been great, but they’ve also been fortunate along the way. The Cardinals are converting a lot of third and very longs while also stopping opponents on fourth downs at an unsustainable rate (10 of 14 so far, league average usually hovers around 50%). They’ve recovered 18 of 23 fumbles (expected fumble recovery rate for any team is 50%). Between fourth-down defense and fumble recoveries they’re stealing two possessions per game so far. They’re the only team in football to have opposing kickers miss three attempts inside 50 yards, one of two teams to have opposing kickers miss four PATs, and are top 10 in offensive and defensive red-zone efficiency, typically a volatile stat unless you have a Derrick Henry on your roster. In many ways, it smells a bit like the 2020 edition—albeit with a better defense. But, mostly, they’re 6–0, which actually counts even more than their position in some guy’s power rankings.

If the Cards go undefeated and win the super bowl, I will be going to the top of the highest building I can find access to and jump off the top floor, for I am sure, if that happened, I will be able to fly. It will be a blast as long it lasts, however with my luck, I will probably smack right into Superman and crash to the street below to my death. But it would still be worth it. Just think, in one day, I would witness our undefeated Cards win it all, I'd discover I can fly, and I find out Superman is real. It couldn't get any better than that!

One I saw (can't remember which one) had the Cards at #1, though begrudgingly, and 4 of the six team we have beaten were ranked in the top 15. So it's not like they think we've only beaten cellar dwellers...

Marking you down down for a spot on the kitchen table. Not at the kitchen table mind you but on it. Gotta maximize space for all us crazy cards fans in my apt.
All the SoCal Cardinals fans should get a reservation at a sports bar for the Rams-Cardinals match up. Be loud, crazy, obnoxious.

I am a daily reader, but infrequent poster, so it is not my place to dictate the plans. But, when this comes to pass, I would think that The Inflatable has to be at the top of the guest list.

I’m down. That’s a MNF game. Do Ram fans even go to the bars in packs to watch games? It’s such a migratory town that I can’t even remember seeing or hearing large packs of them either up in LA at The Parlor on Melros, at Buffalo near the Bridge and never down in OC when I watch games with Ouchie and our friends down there. Even during the Super Bowl season, I remember being at The Dark Room on Melrose (RIP) for their playoff game against Dallas and no one was even watching.
