I'm creating all these threads to try to maintain/generate more interest of this forum despite of the season now being cancelled....

Anyways... let's all try to predict a date when there will finally be an agreement...

I say..... 05/12/06......

Whoever is exact or is the closest wont necessarily win a prize though!

I think if it's not resolved by August, the NHL needs to open their the doors to anybody who wants to play under their structure. Teams rotate players so often, if the Coyotes had 20 guys from the minor leagues, that would be fine with me. I would continue going and I have 1/5 of a season ticket.

I used to know the Coyotes roster when Roenick, Tkachuk, and Burke were here, but now all I know is Brett Hull and bunch of kids.

When I heard that yesterday the players agreed to a cap, I got excited and thought it would be worked out and even stared to think about how mych of my bonus was going to go the get glass seats for opening nught. I hope I am right.

If you go back and look a little ways, he's been spot on with a couple instances that he predicted. But, I wouldn't put all my faith in him.

From a source, "A group of players have presented a proposal to the NHL completely on their own."

I have also heard from a source that this could get done quickly...Only the NHL could uncancel itself..

My guess is the NHL is dead. New owners and a new league, based in Canada and Northern US cities will probably spring up in about two years.

NHL players were so out of touch with reality they killed their livelyhood.
