b8rtm8nn - derived from bartmann - crunched from bart rossmann - given to me shortly after birth by my parents.

Many folks just call me bartmann or 'the bartmann'...perhaps not surprising, I work with computers for a living

Hey thanks, mystery solved.

As I watched the Colts ---- Texans game the other night , I was getting concerned late into the second quarter . The Texans looked like a team with bigtime momentum to turn their season around and put some wind in their sails for the rest of their season . Then comes halftime and the HC/OC goes down , (glad to hear he will be ok) without him the team staggers, stumbles , and falls . Trust me folks , if they had gone on to defeat the Colts , we would have had a lot more to worry about this Sunday . I like our chances ,and believe we will win this Sunday . GO CARDS !!!

Cards 20 Texans 24. I'm not convinced the Palmer we saw against Atlanta is the Palmer we'll see again. There's no way Keenum throws for 4 picks, either.

Famous last words, but I think the Texans just got their hearts/backs broken blowing that game against the Colts. They had no business winning that game given how they have been playing vs. how the Colts have been playing. They came out of their bye and hit their divisional foe with their best shot and it wasn't enough. Their season is over at this point and I think the hangover from that loss will still linger on a road trip against an unfamiliar foe. Plus they are a totally different team on the road than at home. Plus I think the Cards are the better team either way at this point. In their house I slightly lean towards them, in our house, we got this.

I think the Cards take this one. 24-10

Cards got this one in the bag, they pay some attention to detail and the offense has it's best game of the season. Defense has a field day on the same day....

Dawg smells an ass whoopin, by at least 20 points!!!

Book it

I have to go against the grain here.

This is going to be a classic Cardinals stinker.

Losing to a team with a terrible record and losing convincingly.

30-17

Do you think he will pull a hammy running on to the field from the locker room? Seems like a stretch......

Seriously, I want to beleive that the cards are a different team with the changes to the staff. This game should be a good test of that plus the week off will play into a victory.

Yup.

This game reminds me a lot of a game in Wiz's first year. We seemed to have turned a corner, we're 5-4 with a home game against a bad 49ers team
And the chance to go 2 games above .500 for the first time in forever, and we ended up losing on a miss rackers chipshot FG at the end of regulation ad then fumbled the ball in our own endzone to lose in OT. I remember being FURIOUS. Just when it seemed like we were going to take a step forward, we went backwards. I want to see this team NOT repeat the mistakes of the past.

The Texans are a team in disarray. This should be a solid W...but truth be told I'll take a squeaker and be happy too. Just as long as we get a W.

I still cannot believe some fans defended Rackers.

Pretty sure Chokers missed that chip shot in OT not at end of regulation but yeah I remember that game. Rackers was the most anti-clutch kicker I could ever remember. If that guy played in a bigger market he would have been blackballed in 2006 after missing the kick in the Bears game.

Oh no.

It was in regulation. I am sure of it.

I'll be right back....

Edit: Doh.

You are correct sir.

6:49 in OT, Rackers misses a 32 yard chip shot because he is a choker.

weird. i thought it was in regulation too. wasn't that the game where Wiz iced Rackers before the kick? good times.

I might be getting the Packers playoff game mixed up in my head. that one Rackers DEFINITELY missed at the end of regulation. was that where Wiz iced him?

note in that play by play above that we somehow had a delay of game penalty before the field goal. just ridiculous the ways this team comes up with to lose games.

"But he made like 30 FG's in a row once, and he was a good tackler."

Thats the standard Rackers argument. I'm with you, the guy was Choke city. Nice guy, reliable in quarters 1-3 but too many to list but how bout most memorable:

KC in 06
Chicago in 06 (2 games in a row) How differently would Matt Leinarts career have started if it werent for Chokers?
Green Bay in 09 A game we won anyways, which vastly overshadowed that we SHOULD have won in regulation if Rackers wasn't such a giant choker.

Q4 0:14 1 10 GNB 16 Neil Rackers 34 yard field goal no good

Back up nobody RBs and FBs usually stomp on us.

Ben Tate isn't exactly a nobody, but I get what you are saying. Looks like he was getting closer and closer to splitting equal reps with Foster, but he is playing with cracked ribs. Beyond him, their FB has 2 carries this season and no other RB has data on touches (Special Teamers).

Texans have JJ Watt and the number 1 D stats wise. Heck their O is top 10 stats wise as well. This is a good team that has been snake bit and could be ready to explode on a team.

Based on the overwhelming number of posters who feel the Cards will win I've been swayed so Cards 27 Texans 20.
