16-3 Seahawks. Our Offensive line is as bad as we feared and Skelton shows us nothing. The only bright spot is Ryan Williams breaks a 64 yard run to set up our one FG. Of course his other 8 carries are -1, 2,0,-2,3,0,3,1.

I just don't see how this current Cardinals team wins a game this year unless they somehow manage to hold the opponent to under 10 points. Skelton and Kolb aren't much better than DeWreck Anderson, Hall and Skelton and the offensive line is far worse. :(

Starting to feel better about this game seeing how heavily the national experts are picking against us...

Cards win: 20 -13 I think we get one TD by the defense.

Replacement refs make a bad call exending a late game winning drive by the Hawks. Cards fans learn about life with a replacement OL.

Hawks walk down the field on the opening drive and score. Anyone surprised? Cards have to rally in the fourth. Ugly game.

Didn't Newton light us up like a Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree last season in his first game as a pro??

I dunno... the Cards such a rich history in making rookies and previously unheralded players look like Hall of Famers.
Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Wilson move the ball up and down the field, converting key 3rd down after key 3rd down... It's just the Cardinal way.

So, put me down for a 38-35 Cardinal victory... Beanie has a big game, going over the century mark.

To be fair, Newton did that to many teams. Give me 24-23 Cards.

Second highest yardage total of the season vs the Cards. Had his highest total vs the Packers the next week. 854 yards passing combined in his first two NFL games. Threw for 374 in week 4 and DC's decided Cam could throw the ball after all and took steps to limit the damage he could do and Carolina went with the run.

10 games over 140 yards rushing. 1,121 yards rushing over the last 6 games of the season.

Note: we did hold them to their 2nd lowest rushing total for 2012.

I think its possible the Cards really come out fired up. Playing at home with the defense that i think will be salvating at Russel Wilson. I think the play makers on defense will show up big in the first quarter. I see a defensive TD off a PP pick or Wilson fumble from a hard hit when he takes off running...

27-17 Cards

Something tells me the light bulb goes on with Skelton this season. And with the coaches. A game plan that plays to our flawed QB's strengths, and a relentless running attack hiding our OLs protection deficiencies. Lynch plays even though less than 100% keeping their number 2 rookie from gaining 4000 yards on us, and only goes for 67 yards on 22 carries. Wilson suddenly looks like the rookie he is as Horton schemes him back to the NCAA. Terell Owens goes off for.... wait.

Cards 23 Hags 13
