I don't think I'd worry about that. I'm pretty sure the agent already knows all these guys so meeting with them isn't really going to change much. If it came to selling, I'd give Cuban a big edge over Sarver too but I think we have more to sell right now unless we're just looking at a one year situation.

we'll shall see how much selling goes into acquiring a player. lakers have crap to offer melo in personnel but did a hard sell on life in LA.

Yeah, I think LA, New York and Miami have some built in advantages when it comes to selling their franchise to players. LA has Hollywood and they use it well. I could see it mattering to Melo but I don't know if it would be that big of a selling point to Lebron. I'd think playing for someone like Cuban would be a huge selling point for most players but that selling point was already present without these Agent/Owner meetings.

I'm going to guess that we resign Eric Bledsoe and sign Lebron James.

The Hollywood thing makes sense, but they're selling it to a guy that's been playing in NYC for a few years. I think it'd be a bigger positive when trying to sell a guy playing anywhere else but NY, or Miami.

True. I don't think Melo is going to LA but I suspect he was impressed/pleased by the effort.

The only way to guarantee that Lebron signs here is if the Suns sign Steve Keim to a short term contract to get him in. It'll be a one year deal, but then, who knows where it goes from there.
