Actually I think Hordak did a good job teaching Skelator.

The kid made some really good throws. I especially like the throw behind routes he completed. Almost looked like Warner out there putting the ball in just the right spot for our WR to stop, turn back and make the catch. He sure didn't look scatter armed last night.

Skelton may have the strongest arm in the NFL? I seen that bullet that hit Heap in the thumb! followed by the bobble and the fight to get it, Heap won! :)

We went like 10 passes then 5 runs in a row with the starters. aHGG
Once they mixed it up with LSH it was a better offense.

Beanie picked up the blocks needed,

It was a better start than I expected all around, but have a long ways to go.

panic

Hall has that Plummer like excitement, plays best from a panic, not cool like Kolb, Skelton, or dare I say Leinart.

but the pro skill set is not there, Bartell looked good until the he was late and weak armed on the money throws back across the field.

Skelton may be 8 games away from being as good as Kolb? but more likely a year and 8 games. Bartel and Hall are not NFL starters, they are emergency QB's that may not make another roster.

Yep - I think Hall looked better than Bartell.

Odd - I agree :)

IMO, I thought Hall looked terrible. He looked afraid. His balls had no zip on them. His receiver made a nice run after the catch, but the whole Raider team seemed like they were frozen.

Hall is definitely not an NFL caliber QB.

PP looked pretty average at best. Letting scrubs get five feet of separation at will was disappointing, and him standing around on the return fumble was just lame. That was absolutely no effort.

I thought there was an early whistle on the fumble, so I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.

PP looked like a rookie in his first professional game-normal reaction...still learning a professional defense which is vastly different than his sytem at LSU and at the moment he is fighting with his mind to understand where he belongs in the scheme of things to an extent that his instincts are having a problem to take hold. He will be fine once he gets comfortable in the pro game and defense we will be running.
When your scared about making mistakes, you often don't make anything else happen either LOL

Kolb to Fitz looked good.

Beanie had a nice run... then looked pretty average the rest of the night.

Liked Williams' wiggle.

Liked what I saw out of Skelton.

PP looked like a rookie.

Rashad Johnson looked awful.

Was unimpressed with the O-line and D-line and Defensive backfield and the the LBing core looked a lot like it did last year.
