Scola is really playing well with 8 points already in the first quarter.

Luke Zeller reminds me of Sean Marks. I was never a fan of Marks.

Starting unit seemed so fluid, but the second unit doesn't seem to have any chemistry yet. I'm sure it will come around though because Gentry's teams always have a good bench.

I wish the Suns would play Diogu. I'd like to see if he would have any impact inside.

Gortat looks like he will miss Nash the most. He seems lost. Also, IMO, he needs to be playing at a heavier weight.

I wish the Suns had a chance to draft Meyers Leonard. He moves well for a center.

This game is a bit of a foreshadowing of what will happen if O'Neal is out. With Gortat and Scola both starting and Frye out, there is no one to bring off the bench to play center. Looks like Zeller or Jones might have to stick around.

I'd like to see what Diogu can do before they fall in love with Zeller or Jones.

I think they may be thinking he's too short. He hasn't been getting playing time so far. But the Suns seem to continue to have rebounding issues regardless of who they throw out there.

This is probably the case especially since he does not elevate well. Marshall needs to take the open shot when he gets it.

One stat that jumps out to me in this game is that the Suns are +24 with Dragic on the floor. That's 8 points higher than the next player on the team.

I know the Suns want Marshall to get playing time but at some point in time, Telfair needs to get some action.

Dragic had a strong game with 8/9/5 while controlling the tempo. Morris shot the ball much better and led the Suns in scoring with 14.

Wes Johnson with another solid game. But let's not forget that he will be a free agent next summer when the Suns don't pick up his 4th year option by start of this season.

Suns have been giving up too many offensive rebounds. Scola and Beasley combined for 5 boards.
