Archie looks good so far. Tim Duncan looks like 15 years younger with his new hairdo

Dionte Christmas seems intent on making the best use of his playing time.

Maybe Duncan is using something to make his hair darker. He does look younger.

Nobody can have any contact with Duncan without it being a foul. It would be nice if the referees made the same call for all the players... like the NFL.

You can tell Len is going to be a solid player one day. All he needs to do is get stronger and keep his feet healthy. But he moves like a basketball player and I like that he's got some grit to him and is not afraid to mix it up inside

I'm glad PJ Tucker is on this team

Same here. Tucker is solid.

I'm surprised the Spurs played their big four (Parker, Duncan, Ginobili and Maggette) so many minutes in an early preseason game. The Suns held their own and then some.

Yeah that surprised me to. I don't mind it though...its a good learning experience for a young team defending a team like the Spurs who move the ball so well on offense.

I agree. Let the Spurs give us their best win or lose. It just perplexes me that they would do this before the final last couple preseason games.

They make reputation calls in the NFL too, just not as often. And it's more likely to be for a team rather than an individual but it does happen for the player too. Just watch Revis play his position and see the contact he gets away with that would result in PI after PI if someone like Mike Adams did the exact same thing. Still, it's so much worse in the NBA that I'd gladly settle for the NFL standard.

I was just trying to compare it to another sport who has their celebrities. As we agree, the NBA is worse about giving more preferential treatment to stars.

The Morris twins drive me crazy. I think the Suns would be better off without them. Same with Marshall.

I liked the way Len finished the game, 6 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Final score: Suns 106, Spurs 99.

I agree, I would prefer this option, but what to do with Marshall?

Cut him? He's not an NBA caliber player...I just don't see anyone trading us anything worthwhile for him.

On another note always nice to beat the Spurs. Hornacek now 9-1 so far as a head coach :D
