Everybody has to watch one Notre Dame football game this season. You not only have to cheer for the Irish, you have to like it too!

I think Skorp would even admit that it's near impossible to enjoy watching the Irish if you're not rooting for the opposing team.:bang:

Why dont we have a annual Jim Skane award. It would be a yearly award given to a fan who best promotes the Cardinals Fandom for that given year?? Can call it the Skkorp trophy or somthing like that.
I like that idea. Perhaps the award could be broadened to involve the local media or even the Cardinal organization.

Skkorp was a deep thinker who felt passionately about various causes. For this reason, I also agree we should ask Skkorp's family what they feel what might be the most appropriate gesture or tribute.

:( RIP Skorpp.

I don't post very often...but I have always enjoyed reading his insight when lurking...I was shocked to read about this today, I hadn't been paying attention for a week or so...I broke down a little in my cubicle...I just can't believe it. A great Cardinals fan is lost, and one who has had an effect on more people than he or anyone else probably realizes...for instance, if it weren't for this board, I probaly wouldn't have been able to get tickets to the NFC Championship game last year at a tough time in my life (just laid off...).

Anyway...just thought I'd share another small story about how one man has done so much. I think it should serve as an example of how being selfless can enhance so many lives.

Thanks Skorpp and R.I.P.

R.I.P. Skkorp.

Always enjoyed your posts/banter here on the board. More of us should follow your example in being passionate, yet gentlemanly and holding the boards to a high, high standard seldom seen on forums like these.

You are sorely missed.
